Went through 3 tracks and indeed, what a joke. Wondering if the artist himself would have the patience to listen 12 hours of this sound. Description says " The tracks on this album were written between Jan 28th 2018 & June 1st 2018. " no wonder.
I have not followed Demon Tea for a while but I remember good releases back in the day (Loopus in Fabula, Benza). Strange for them to release this stuff.

Mind Rewind
in 2011
On 10/31/2018 at 5:04 PM, draeke said:The track was a wild recording session, it was made in 2 different mixes but recorded directly from the mixer to dat tapes in a desk mix kind session, so there won't be any more polished version of this, it is raw and wild because it was made like that. I think Mark knows more of this story but this is how i remember it from his words. We think it's pretty epic the way it is, and very powerful.
It's a great track, this type of technoish psytrance is quite rare, especially nowadays.

What do you think of the kick coming @ 0:52 ?

Impossible to go past
The reaction on dancefloors is crazy powerful. I saw Anoebis play it 3 times in 2014 and each time it did a number on the floor.
Damn, I hate that track
Thanks for the bump by the way, so I could listen to Aeon - Osho again, so beautiful

Very good sound! Liking track 2 and 3 a lot, but no weak track, very entertaining psytrance! Should have been released on Timecode 15 years ago :-P

Context is important, back in 2005 the genre was not clearly defined as it is today. Ka-Sol was one of the pioneer but you can hear the old Ka-Sol tracks sound totally different to today's forest psytrance.
Anyway you can see from the first responses on this thread that some (me included) probably never heard of the term forest psytrance and were trying to pick music that is dark and deep, and reminiscent of some kind of forest. Derango's album came out 3 months after this thread.

You are right, there is a touch of goa but it is definitely a mix of several genres (psytrance or melodic progressive). I wish the melody during the break down at the 11th minute could last a bit longer or come back later in the track.

I listened to the Yamabikaya album a while ago and really did not like it much. Was a disappointment for me but I guess it's worth buying it if you are a collector.

Not utterly psychedelic as the sound is more morning, long track but nice progression and a superb second half. Very trancy stuff. The first Qiujan album released in 2015 already showed great signs of talent.

Liquid Neon Sky is a well known track, beautiful classic, but Black Light is seriously underrated, it has a sweet entrancing bassline unique in its own way, one of the best tracks Chi-A.D. ever composed in my opinion.

Gnocchi's kickdrum is a bit too loud for my taste.
I am a big fan of this kind of kickline (Oforia - Maximiser), quite typical but very frank and perfect harmony with the rest of the track:

Third track is awesome! (nice old school artwork)

Here's a nice interview that Ofer made with AP, there's a couple more on his youtube, while we wait for the album.
Ofer's favorite track is Life on Mars, well it is the AP track that sounds the most like Oforia great track indeed.

I can understand someone being a vegetarian (not vegan). But why stop drinking milk???
It depends on people but it's not easy to digest, also I know it's hard to believe what we can read on the Internet nowadays but I heard about so many famous sportsmen who stopped drinking cow milk and felt better afterwards. To be honest I felt a difference too, even though I still drink once in a while, but not everyday like I used to.

In my case, I think I ate meat or fish for a total of perhaps 5 times in the last 3 years, so that should make me a vegetarian. Eat eggs several times a week, cheese very rarely, cow milk sometimes but mostly go for soy milk. Rest of the diet is a lot of nuts, oats, vegetables and fruits, pasta or rice, tofu, beans. Sometimes beer or wine of course

Never listened to his down tempo sound, but among his uptempo albums I found this one to be the least interesting. I guess coming last (to date) did not do it much favor. As usual with E-Mantra, if you isolate one random track from the album, you'll find it very impressive. If you listen to the whole album, you'll find it very linear. Still cannot rate it mediocre as objectively his sound is one of the best, I rate it 5/7 because I was expecting more surprises.

I had a listen on Youtube, I understand those not willing to spend $22 on this album. It find it much less interesting than Ubarpedia (which was a triple CD but still had more interesting tracks in all three CDs). I still like this album, but to be honest there is no track that really caught my attention.

Yes, the first track was recorded in 1997, and the second one was recorded in 1999/2000, but I think it was made in 1999.
Yes, I am also very interested in the first track. It is definitely one of the most “atmospheric” psy-trance tracks that I have heard. The continuous, uninterrupted stream of psychedelic sound...
I uploaded the first track on Youtube years ago but sadly never got any reply. It may be unreleased, because usually a track from 1997 should be easy to identity.

Excellent:

Tranan's album is underrated I think.
Sacred communication is such a beautyA goa track:

I like the album of Microcosm very much, you can tell it was deeply influenced by the old Dimension 5 sound.
As for Clementz his tracks are usually entertaining, a promising artist for sure.- 1
