  2. Hi ! I'm new to the forum. I already have a few posts, but until right now, I couldn't locate the welcome topic. Just a few words about why I'm here. I came in touch with trance and electronic music in 2009/2010. I began to be fond of trance in 2011/2012. I explored then almost of the subgenres of trance (including psy). But finally, in 2013, I realized I was in love with Goa, and since that time I just can't get bored of it. That's my favorite music, and I'm almost married to the genre. I'm pretty much a Newschool fan. I especially love sunny, melodic trance with loud bass and an ambient background. I have no particular favorite projects or songs, but I have a crush on most newcomers : JIS, CoaGoa, Artifact303, Crossing Mind, Eleusyn, etc. I don't really like nitzho trance, and I consider Khetzal's Corolle to be (for myself) the best Goa album. I also like psy progressive that has melodies (morning prog, ambient prog, or songs with goa riffs), as well as psybient, and other non-psychedelic forms of trance that sounds "cheesy" (techno dream trance, nightcore, J-Trance, and in rare cases, uplifting). But I can't stand mainstream trance, even in psy (Neelix, Skazi). I can't stand full-on too. I also am confused by darkpsy. I only trust Electrypnose in this area. I came here because Psynews always improves my passion and knowledge for trance and ambient music. There are many interesting topics, and I wanted to follow them closer, and participate sometimes. And I hope to stay the longest time as possible. Thank you.
  3. With Sky Input, Filteria proves that he could use the solar power to make music. With Daze of our Lives, he refined his style with a more poetic touch. With this album, he added a final ingredient to his 604 mixture : mysteriousness. When I listen to this, I don't hear Goa Trance. I hear absolute trance music. Bravo.
  4. What kind of music do you hear in your dreams Radi ? That must be incredible. I also have heard of other people hearing music in their dreams among trance community. Is it possible that Goa/Psy/Trance enters more deeply into the subconscious mind that other musical genres ? The true question is : how far do psychedelic and trance music influence the mind and the dreams ? It also may be possible that producers want the audience to be touched in their dreams, if we refer to a few song tracks, like Artifact 303 - Influence your dreams. the link > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_oSBlfUj-Ug
  5. This is sad, because Oswald is a very creative artist, who explored a lot of the goa spectrum ( dark goa with Cursed Bloodline, nitzhogoa, classic goa ), and I won't easily forget Shelter 10 which was a rare experimental release full of happiness. It is quite a loss. But l wish the best to Oswald. Thank you so much, and good luck in your future/current projects ! You have so much potential ! Keep having fun and making good music ! ( And i hope that one day you'll get into Goa again )
  6. Asia 2001 in Dub, because his goagressive, hypnotic style would match IMO a downtempo release. Actually i'd like to have Asia 2001 remixed ambiently by some project such as Astropilot (with the same progressive vibe of Iriy for instance).
  7. This may be a weird recommandation for someone looking for sleep, but Toï Doï's album Technologic is a magical trip to Dreamland. Except the track Nuage d'Encens with its crazy climax, the smooth rhythm and the whispering samples put you in a comfort state very quickly. But it's not very "astral". Toï Doï - Replicant
