Planet B.E.N. - Trippy Future Garden (Polytox Records) These are close to 10/10: Ra - To Sirius If it weren't for "Signs of Life" which is so so.. Chi-A.D. - Infinitism Sub-atomica and Purity aren't very good compared to the rest. Change these for tracks like Biocandy, Astral Warrior or Healing Magic and it's a 10/10 Talpa - The Art of Being Non (Sundance Records) Exceptional album, but it's just something about, a 'feeling',that keeps me from giving it a 10/10.. while Sky Input sometimes felt a little too full-on with in your face trancey melodies this new album sounds more promising.. More atmosphere, more pads, more playful, more in my taste.. wonderful Pyrogen is amazing, and of course the crop circles remix... man I can't wait to get my hands on this. I'm going to avoid the samples for now, did a quick listen a while ago.. I want it to sound new and fresh when I get it

I have very sensitive hearing and I just checked the monitor level on my djm mixer... It was set to ~8% Out on parties I've seen djs playing with a djm mixer set to 75% For beatmatching I prefer using one cup playing the cued track and the other ear listening to the monitors.. At first I also played both tracks in cup... maybe it's a thing you grow to like, mixing with one cup? Or maybe I was too sensitive about two full-blown goa tracks playing at the same time

I don't agree.. pop-trance is reserved for DJ Sammy and the likes, I would simply say full-on or full-on trance.. but I'm of course a bit sceptic about including the word "trance" in any of this but whatever..
