How about I have a 16 channel digital mixer already? But you are right, that I could use the mixers channels to record, however, I dont have any more inputs on the mixer that are free. I definetly dont want another mixer. I could do with a bigger one, but then It would not be digital hhehehehe. Circle of evil there Im starting a pretty big project at the moment, with live drums, live bass and song as well. Thats why I would like to record directly to the soundcards inputs. We will see what I will do in the end

I think anonymous posts would suck, therefor I also do not prefer it. And every single critizism should be public domain. Also, if questioned it should be investigated for credibility. If you CANT post anonymously, you have less chance of bullshit. If you CAN, you will have more people daring.... its a lose/win/win/lose situation really....

Can somone compile a list of organizers around the globe for me? I will then throw together a small php with a mysql database where you as an artist can vote for the organizer. Of course this would require the artist to register, because I bet there are many organizers that will vote that they are good or something haha Anyways, I think thats the way something like this should be started. Of course you have to have a disclaimer that your ip will be logged, and that you are NOT allowed to be associated with the organizer. Purely for gaining purposes Its a lot of work, but its a start

The best way of doing this, is to keep it out of psynews, and open up a seperate page where you publish these emails. This way you keep irresponsible, and no confusion will rise, but you can also post the link on other forums (like isratrance or psyforum.co...). I like the idea though. I think it might work, if you make sure that you have the link with your letter to them in the email when you send it. This way they can SEE that you are meaning bussines, and that if they dont respond, a LOT of people will see it

Ok, I ripped open the first cd and started skimming through the tracks of of Daily Basis, because I realized that there was an Echotek track on there... oke, this is NOT AT ALL what I expected coming from them to be honest. Pretty damn good trance this is. As there is Perfect Stranger on it as well (Which is one of my favs at the moment, I can see this getting pretty good.) The Tabernanthe one I have already heard I just realized, and its pretty damn good. I couldnt chose between them if I had to chose, but hmmmm, id go for the Daily Basis, just because of the first 2 tracks to be honest. Now, I hope that makes your choice a little bit easier EDIT: I skipped down to track 4 to find out that this compilation has some pretty house influenced music as well. So.... If you like house/progg then this is the one. Tabernanthe is more scandoprogg, and sounds very good I like them both still though

Well, that and a publishing company that would let the artist be the publisher of his own stuff... well, thats a more complicated one, and I am not going to go into it. Totally agree, but people that think like "us" should just join forces and get rid of that state, shouldnt we? But we dont do jack about it, and thats the most sad part of it....

So, we have to be slaves to society in order to fulfill our dreams? I say, take a good shot at it, and if you fail, you go back to being a slave of society and hard labour. I chose hard labour because I have a child now, but to be honest, before I got a child I was about to quit my technical career (which is a very good one, im super duper frikking good at what I am doing, and I have a CV that will stun most people, basically I can get any job I want at the moment... just to make it clear im no bum, and this is NOT to brag) and make music, JUST music for a year or 2. I could have made it, but then there came responsibility into my life. On the other hand, at the moment (which is a very difficult period for me, since ive been diagnosed with diabetes type1, and have been very sick for a while) I find myself being more productive in the studio than ever. I have much more illusions about where I want to be in life.... I think its good to persue your dreams for a while to LEARN what life is really about.... you HAVE to fall, and learn from your mistakes... you can NEVER learn from others mistakes... because we all have that drive, that we want to make it diffrent than the ones we know that made mistakes. Some of the people are as I said in another topic here on the forum "naturals" and they dont fail at the same thing as you, and just glide into something, and find themself comfortable with that. I HOPE for Andy, that this will be the case, and I really respect his descision! May all the forces of the universe be on his side, and may he conquer all the difficulties that his descoscion MAY bring! Have a good one mates and matetes Im off to make some more music EDIT: And Detox, this is not a bash towards you or anything. I just find a lot of people that dont dare doing what they love the most, may it be music or painting or whatever. Another note: People dont always need to go to a school to learn to paint, or to make music, I think some of the most impressive painters and musicians I know, never studied anything of what they are doing (And im not only talkign about famous artists here)
