what genre is it? i find the 3rd track(doof-the third revelation) very nice,except the vocals are a bit silly! and track 2 intro reminds me of a pink floyd song,cant remember which one now..

i used to download a lot before,it was p2p that got me in the scene... it wasnt a choice actually,it just happened,the only electronic music in shops here is tiesto and pvd so what was i supposed to do? now that i have found online ordering,i stopped downloading,not so much for moral issues but for the qualityof the music,and even if it sounds stupid,a cd is sooo much more satisfaction than an mp3 file!!!

i think powergen is very good! but i dont own a complete album from them... which one do you reccomend that i get?(i tend towards the old-school sound)

all those compis look great to me as i am in the eternal search of the goa albums that i missed,but i fear that they will be very hard to find...

no rules imo is a great track,i am not sure if its even considered full-on by todays full-on criteria. on the other hand GMS initiated me in this music so i cant really be objective!

i need some reccomandations for some beatless melodic psy! to explain it more: take etnica-sharp or any other album,there is the main part of the track and then at some point the melodies start to appear,and after some minutes,the beat is gone and only the melody is there,often followed by a crescendo(a build up) that brings you back to the main part with all the elements blazing(hard beats,full melodies,high hats etc) What i am looking for is entire tracks like this,with great melodies that change,merge evolve blah blah... But without the beat,well there can be some beat,but i want it clean and not club-like,maybe smoother,not in-your-face beat.bass is not a problem here,just the annoying beat that distracts me from the melody. this goes for ambient too. some words that come in my mind when trying to express this genre are: wavy,floating,melodic,dreamy,mellow.... an example is etnica-planet x(sharp album) at 4:18,where the melody kicks in,i almost cream my pants!

blue room and flying rino!!! and about the new scjool not understanding the old school: i am completely the opposite,every single friend of mine that listens to psy(almost everyone i know is in some form of eloctronic music) they are jumping up and down on skazi and astrix and other cheesy boom boom boom songs,munching in pill like its candy(i did my share of drugs too,but i quitted some time ago,but i never did the stupid stuff they do) and gatting busted one after the other. anw my point is that everubody i know of my age listens to crap full-on(real crap) and i go mad for the older stuff and chillout...wtf is wrong with me??

if you listen to the tracks high isert is the intro of morfioso,so if you listen to them one after the other,its just like the intro of morfioso is played twice. its a cool effect but they could just merge it it with morfioso,why sacrifice a track?
