It was the other way round for me. Thought it was okay on my first listen but by the fourth or fifth play I started contemplating suicide (something I hadn't previously considered since living in New York City over 5 years ago, where the New Yorker's oh-so-fucking-whiney voices and retarded look-we're-american-we're-so-fucking-great-flag-waving coupled with their stupid fake-smiling-faces led me to something of a violent and mental breakdown and I was arrested by the NYPD and threatened with deportation (true story by the way, I tell not a lie) but anyway I'm digressing). Basically when all's said and done I just didn't like it. No. Worse. I hated it. No. Worse still. I hated it and everything in the world when I had it. I even hated my poor mother who deserves nothing but love from the son who has served only to let her down. Felt much better once I sold it though.
I'm serious. It was on last night at 10pm on Discovery Science. I only watched it hoping they'd play a little of his music but all they discussed was the evidence pointing to Simon's role in creating the universe. It was very interesting.
Watched an interesting documantary on Discovery Science last night questioning whether Simon Posford really did create the universe? The general consensus in the scientific community is he probably did. What do you guys think?
Mine would be Dracula New Classics, a rare Japanese CD of classical music fused with subtle electronic sounds. I believe only 10,000 or so were printed and, besides costing me a small fortune, it's a beautiful collection of tracks.
I also got bored of the music and parties and these days listen to only a couple of hours of psy a week. I think boredom with psy begins when you discover other genres can stir stronger emotions and touch you in ways psy no longer can, and although the quality of psy has certainly worsened over the years, I think people go off it because of a change within themselves.
Usually I buy around 8 CD's a month second-hand on eBay and Amazon, but it depends, some months I'll buy 20 CD's, some months as little as 1 or 2. In regards to psy CD's, it's around 6 a year, so 0.5 a month.
I quite like beaded curtains too, don't own any mind. I dunno, they're rather studenty and designed in my opinion, primarily, for people who can't afford doors.
I love baths too, as you say, very relaxing. Don't like it when the water gets cold and you have to add hot water though, always end up burning my feet.
One of the oldest CD's in your collection is only back from 1993? Man, that's shameful. I insist you stand in the corner a time and contemplate the error of your ways. Absolutely shameful.
