  1. 14 years. Eventually I remembered that I hadn't actually ordered the CD. Man, I felt foolish.
  2. Taika Kim's ace. I have Oopie to thank for introducing me to him. Oopie told me if I didn't listen to his work he would post the obscene PM's I sent him in the Off Topic Section for all to see.
  3. Keep it on topic please - and that's Borat.
  4. From the research I've done it seems Lucas just made the tea and put biscuits on plates. He had no influence on the music whatsoever.
  5. Never question NHJO's genius.
  6. I know! We should track the swine down and kill him.
  7. Maybe he didn't like it.
  8. Not really. I blame downloading in part for the death of psy-trance. I mean why should artists bother pouring sweat and blood into their music if people are just going to steal it off the internet? But anyway, that's another topic and I don't want to derail the thread.
  9. Most the blues I like is pretty upbeat and not at all sobby. I enjoy jazz-funk a little, I like that it has no boundaries, no structure and no rules (indeed jazz is probably the most liberal of all musical genres) but I'm not familiar with Chick Korea. I'll try to find a few samples and check 'em out. Yeah, gotta love old Miles.
  10. Syringes and cougar DNA.
  11. Maybe...
  12. I agree. People collect far too much, and the majority seldom collect because they will 'use' what they'e collecting, but collect so they can look at it, or show it off to their friends, or because they have too much disposable income.
  13. DJ's? pah. All most of them do is play a few records and folk worship them like Gods when the respect and admiration should really go to the artist's who created the material they spin. Unless they're artists as well as DJ's, I've no time for them.
  14. Other than Prometheus' Corridor of Mirrors and Damien Rice's new album, I don't know. I generally buy albums based on what I hear and like on the radio. I'm very much in a blues phase at the moment, especially the classic New Orleans sound championed by the likes of Koko Taylor. Timeless stuff.
  15. How dare you pull that face at something I posted.
  16. I don't know. At times I think Hallucinogen's LSD is the best psy trance tune ever, other days I think Deranger or Space Pussy is better, and if I'm in a particular mood I often feel Shpongle's The Seventh Revelation or Behind Closed Eyelids is the best.
  17. Quite a lot.
  18. Yup, what's even sadder is it could be argued it's a reflection of psy trance music itself.
