  1. lol...so all the people on the hallucinogen website are clamoring for a hallucinogen album. just like all the people on the sha na na website want a new sha na na album. ill wait while you go look up who sha na na is.
  2. dude...no one listens to hallucinogen anymore.
  3. im sorry man...its not going to happen. you are in a vast vast minority of people who want to hear the same stuff for 20 years. want the proof? the proof is that youre here complaining about it. if there were more people like you...then the music would be being made...and its not.
  4. "real artists will produce exactly what the fans want" those are called sellouts/whores. REAL artists produce what they want to and dont take "fans" into consideration at all.
  5. i think something youre not taking into account is this. while its physicaly possible to create the music from 20 years ago...its not possible to create the atmosphere in which that music emerged. music genres and stles are a product of the technology available at the time and the prevailing ideas and experimentation of the surrounding culture. you cant recreate the goa of the early/mid 90's any more than you can recreate big band music from the 20s, doo wop from the 50's, psychedelic rock from the 60's, disco from the 70's or new wave from the 80's sure you can physicaly recreate the style/sound, but you cant ever get the feeling back like from when it was fresh and new. its gone...over...finished. it had its time. this is the problem youre having with all the new school goa stuff going on now...it sounds like goa kinda, but its never going to be like goa. that time has passed. we can not recreate the fundamental atmosphere and environment that produced that music...so the music cant be the same.
  6. i didnt say it couldnt be done. im saying no one wants to do it. which should be obvious by your own logic: people could make music like they did 20 years ago + people arent making music like they did 20 years ago = people must not want to make music like they did 20 years ago
  7. no to mention that in 1994 everyone was using the same 5 or 6 synths and drum machines.
  8. by people...i think you mean to say you want to hear it. everyone has been giving you suggestions for stuff "in the same style" that you are asking for (well not me i gave you something else). you dont seem interested in any of it. it seems as though you dont want things in the same style...you want them to be nearly identical. order ordonata 1???? yeah they sound the same because its from 1994 when everything sounded the same. th scene has moved on, evolved, and is much much more diversified now. why? because no one wants to listen to the same thing for 20 years.
  9. mindfuck you say? here ya go: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QstIYGY3M28 some more mindfuckage:
  10. why? why should there be more of the same? any true "artist" is going to WANT to be different. no one wants to be looked at as a copy cat. the whole point of being an artist is to express yourself, not imitate others.
  11. if the scene was how you describe...people would hate it. to each his own...but man if everyone was like those acts you like...id never listen to psy at all. you and i have opposing tatses, and for my money...those acts you like are just about the worst there are. i find them unimaginitive, derrivitive, boring, uninspired, and generaly weak in substance. you could very well think the same about what i like. your problem is that people arent making the stuff you want to hear anymore (youre almost 15 years too late)...if youre not into the new school goa stuff...well then youre s.o.l. im afraid.
  12. i understand what youre saying...but really with those kinds of acts you mention...its like someone asking "hey, i really like pink floyd, led zeplin, and iron butterfly, can anyone tell me new bands that sound like them?" no they cant...youll have to expand your own sphere of music appreciation to include other acts and other styles. or you can just listen to the same 5 acts.
  13. 5 artists for many years??? man...i think you need to expand your tastes instead of trying to find more stuff that fits into the tiny box youve created for yourself. try these on for size: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rp0vfQmALNk

  15. i dont think it helps them that theres so much quality (legit) free stuff available. i dont have extra $$$ lying around...so i only get stuff thats free.
  16. so wait...does voting end today or are we going to may 1st? im way behind in my listening.
  17. i think there should have been a no voting for yourself rule, but there wasnt one so cant really say anything if people do it.
  18. maybe cuz its almost 60 tracks to listen to?
  19. well shit...i should start selling hoddies to japanese guys then. prices for any clothes marketed to the psytrance crowd are laughably over priced, but seriously though....$200+ for a hoodie is just plain insanity.
  20. lol...soundcloud is still telling me theres no one named radi6404 guess ill never get to hear this genius music.
  21. they have n english version.... but....$218 for a freaking hoodie??? what??? those guys are smoking crack.
  22. has it ever occured to you that the very things you dislike (simple repeating patterns) are exaclty the things that other people do like? i for one dont like it when the patterns change too quickly or too often. one simple melody is plenty if its done properly. differnet strokes man. astral and hallucinogen are "big guys"? what year is this?
  23. you have it backwards. if life were MORE than a succession of days, why do we feel the need to survive? i mean if there was something else, why try so hard to preserve what we have here? perhaps we feel such a strong need to survive because we know that every moment is precious because this is all we get. that line of logic sounds far more sound to me.
  24. "no brain activity" is called brain dead. people dont come back from that and therefore there are no such cases like you describe.
