Long Long Arms has to be the worse Hallucinogen tune since Magik and Beatiful People. Nothing happens all the tune. Absolutely nothing. If there weren't those nice samples from time to time it would be total disaster. IMHO offcourse.

The label is Dragonfly and if that’s not enough to promise quality tunes than you are welcome to hear it for yourselves. The opener is the French Silicon Sound with rather boring tune, as opposed to most of his tracks that I heard so far. Laughing Buddha is up next with the Pogo himself to deliver us funky and groovy number with samples from Star Trek Enterprise. Typical British sound with a lot of little sounds and great samples. Next up is Dick Trevor, I must admit that I totally dig his new sound. His brand of full-on really makes the Israeli acts sounds childish and unprofessional. Together with Pogo we get a tune that has the same feeling as the previous but a bit darker and smoother. Once again a lot of very appropriate samples and penetrating little sounds that will surely push all the right buttons. The 4th tune is one of the highlights for me in the compilation. Tristan is the man behind it and he is definitely not someone who needs introduction. His reputation as one of the best UK psy producers is not something that is up for discussion. And this tune in which he collaborated with Pogo is another proof of his unique talents. This is slamming twister with strong, driving rhythm and multilayered sound above it. Holy crap, I’m freaking out! Next up are another 2 legends. Graham Wood of Blowfish and The Infinity Project teamed up with Franco Rossi of Lotus Omega and Crop Circles. Together they create very weird and dark tune with some old school sounds and technoish rhythm. The first time I listened to it I didn’t dig it but I probably will like it later. This is a totally unique tune. Benji Vaughn is up next with his solo project, Prometheus. If you didn’t spend 2004 in some Russian space station you surely heard his brilliant debut album that was released on Twisted Records. If you didn’t, make sure you do it really quick. And if you’ll hear this tune here you’ll understand what all the fuss is about. Golden Triangle is dark, minimal and it’s equipped with ridiculously busy low end. This is as psychedelic and adventurous as it gets in this compilation. You will either like it or hate it. I happen to like it. Next up is one of the hottest names around, Quadra. Formerly Israeli, and now residing in the US, Ido Liran is the one that responsible for Alien Life Form. This tune totally blows my mind. This is what Full-on is all about. Massive, no hostages taken attitude and a lot of scratching sounds as in the recipe. I must admit, I didn’t hear his debut album that was released 4 years ago on Boom records but this tune here makes me dig it up. Wingmakers is up next with Phoenix Rising. Unfortunatelly, I don’t have an idea who is behind this track because my copy is a promo version without the full credits, although there is Tristan feeling all over it. But any who is behind it, he definitely knows what he’s doing. This is a well crafted stormer that fits pretty well in the mood of this compilation. The closing tune belongs to Polaris and Hopi. This is unfortunutely more in the standard full on vein unlike most of the other tracks in the compilation. Pretty mediocre ending to otherwise excellent compilation Recommendation: This compilation is clearly a must for everybody who likes the British sound. If Intricate, complex and intelligent full-on with strong progressive influences is your cup of chai I strongly recommend this one for you. Favorite tracks: 2,3,4!,6!,7,8!!

I'm not in the mood for ranting on bad directions and wrong evolutions. This year known some really bad music, including from my long time heroes (Space Cat for instance, who probably got so bored in the studio that called to Alien Project to baby sit him). Tip.World was releasing absolutely crappy music and managing to surprising how low they can go with every new release. But! A big but here. We had some amazing albums that are already became a classic. Talpa, BLT, Sub6, Bluetech, Electric Universe, Human Blue. The list goes on and on. Atleast 20 great, great CDs. And most of them came from small labels. As i see it, except for Hommega all of the major labels were busy either releasing crap to fill their booking schedules (Tip.World, Spun), postponing Albums till oblivion (Twisted) or pretty much doing nothing interesting (Spirit Zone, BNE, Hadshot). Correct me if i'm wrong. And Basilisk's list prooves it to you. Great year.

I'd like to see also: Simon & BT or rather Infected Mushroom & BT Simon & Violet Vision, Simon & Shulman Dark Soho & John Fruciante Simon Posford and Chemical Brothers Violet Vision & Chemical Brothers Well, you get the idea... And before i forget: Simon with Lamb's vocalist, forgot her name.

Dude, take my word on it. The first WOW album is the shit. The only albums that top it from the same time period are Chemical Bro's - Dig Your Own Hole and Leftfield's Leftism. I heard WOW's second album recently and i find it extremely dull in comparison to the debut. But i will try to search for the Killer tune. The name though doesn't sound too good

Hair Metal (80's, American Rock bands with more hair volume than Tina Turner after her husband electrocuted her with rechargable vibrator) Country Russian Pop I could live without those 3.

I didn't hear that specific WOW tune since i really lost their direction since the epic debut album, which i wholeheartedly recommend to every electronic music lover. It was released on Deconstruction and deleted for some time now, but if you'll manage to put your hands on it you won't be sorry. NP: Way out west - Blue

Indeed have to agree, this album is pure bliss. Especially the Elementary Particles that doesn't have a single flawed second. And also don't forget to mention the beatiful artwork.

I second that. Great year for Progressive! Human Blue, BLT, Son Kite, FreQ, Saikopod, Prometheus and Vatos Locos. Need i say more? This year finally the groove met with melodies and in some cases it even turned out psychedelic. Something that the prior years hardly had. Everybody were so busy to make it Housey and Groovy. The standout album would be BLT's. The structure is totally progressive but the BPM and the energies are totally full-onish. Shame though that not much ppl appreciated that kind of diversity and Yuli decided to quite the bizness.

It's a great tune. Too monotone but very fat groove. Definately not typical Skazi sound. Hey his first album was recieved very well in the beginning. The problem is with stucking with the same sound.

Best year was 2004. Worst was 2000 when all the original minimal wave started.
