I’m having a problem regarding the signal I’m hearing from my PC. I have an AMD 64 1.8ghz with an onboard soundcard ( Realtek AC97). Two passive monitors connected to a simple amplifier that is connected to the PC. Now the problem is that, I’m hearing some “clips” and distorted sounds even when I’m hearing music from a CD, or directly from the PC and especially when I’m producing or recording. The happening of those clips varies, they can happen quite frequently and sometimes they cease for a while. I’m thinking this is maybe a soundcard problem related to the settings of my driver which is ASIO4ALL, but it could be also the configurations of the signal output of my PC ( a Windows XP problem), or maybe the amplifier, I really don’t know The only thing I’m sure is that is not a problem related to the monitors as I tested with different models Anyone knows how do I "treat" something like this? Any help will be apreciated Oh and I use Logic Platinum 5

Sadly, yes This guy was running after amateur projects tracks like Carl Lewis on steroids running after an ex KKK member Which kind of ruined the idea, that was quite good. Overall, that album has some good tracks.... but some things are too much

Thanks Yeah I was thinking that the Triton is out of question for now. I don't need a workstation And what I'm looking for a synth is flexbility, being able to create my own sounds with plenty of options and wave forms...I really don't know if I buy an analog feeling kind of synth like Andromeda or a digital alike ( Nord, Virus etc) but what I truly want, is that it sounds great

....Does anyone have opinions about any of those synths? I will probably buy a synth by the end of this year, and I'm researching about them Thou I would like to hear some personal opinions

There is always some goa freak that thinks that goa is the only psychedelic electronic music in existence The truth is that, people were having psychedelic experiences out of electronic music way before Goa started Psychedelic is not a formula, it’s a “feeling”…That’s why so many people have gone thru a techno party and had a psychedelic experience out of those repetitive mechanical noises, which is quite indulging as I see it So, Derango can be psychedelic, as many others. You don’t see it because you relate this feeling with a formulated equation of frequencies synthesized in a cheesy 303 synth and an eight arm elephant coming out of its ears
