  1. I think this discussion is going in circles, we have to repeat ourselves. I mentioned some 'dark psychedelic trance' albums I find trippy and psychedelic, Battle Of The Future Buddhas - Demonoizer, Psykovsky - Debut and Derango - Tumult (etc etc) If you don't find psychedelic tracks in these albums, our minds and ears are very different Btw about X-Dream, I mostly like Irritant from their older stuff, and to be honest I quite enjoyed their 2004 We Interface album, although being electro-techy enough , and note that I do not like electro at all.
  2. I got 2,5 and 6 some days ago too . 2 out of 3 , 66,66666% , good percentage
  3. I was talking about the crowd, not the artists, since you were referring to the crowd too, I think. But I bet a lot of the artists had done acid, shrooms or mdma, plus weed. There are of course some exceptions ( MFG spring to mind ), I am not talking about all but about a significant percentage of them.
  4. I agree with all of the above, especially the 18-hours-in-a-row argument. By the way I think that the majority of your music classifies more as night music than morning music (the lighter/brighter stuff you have made is schlabb vol 2).
  5. So out of curiosity you don't like some 2005 psytrance like Psykovsky - Debut or Derango - Tumult or Electrypnose ? Or you are referring to the newest stuff?
  6. In a similar fashion to this thread, I recommended this same friend of mine some psytrance. 7. Draft 7.30 is my favourite of their newest/more experimental style ( along with Confield and Untilted )

  9. for me the limit for a track to be danceable is 150, maximum 155 bpm but no more.
  10. Yeah I think that hits the nail. I prefer the dark psytrance of 2005 more, it was more danceable for sure. New stuff is not danceable, it seems it's music I don't like to listen to very often ,and when I do so I listen to it with the same state of mind I am listening to IDM. It has become mostly braindancing ( I have in my mind Psykosky's latest ).
  11. Battle Of The Future Buddhas - Demonoizer : http://www.discogs.com/viewimages?release=61121 Max track bpm = 146 Psykovsky - Debut : http://www.discogs.com/Psykovsky-Debut/release/586515 max track bpm = 152 (ranging 145 -152) Electrypnose - Le Tireur De Ficelles : http://www.discogs.com/Electrypnose-Le-Tireur-De-Ficelles/release/634424 bmp ranging from 148 to 151 (last track has bmp 191 but it's chillout , so you cant even distinguish the high tempo there) Kinzdadza - Waves From Outer Space : http://www.discogs.com/Kindzadza-Waves-From-Outer-Space/release/229181 BMP ranging 146-149 and many more.I hope you get the picture. I think you can hardly find tracks that exceed 155 bmp, most are in the 145-155 zone.
  12. Ok I apologise. Bad joke though
  13. bullshit, a lot of dark psytrance doesn't exceed 150bmp ... Your post is provocative and ironic and does nothing more than provoking and starting a flame.
  14. Well the drug use/abuse has been there since the very first start so your argument is invalid. As I have said before there are some albums that are gems with high amount of psychedelia in that genre. E.g Battle Of The Future Buddhas - Demonoizer , Psykovsky - Debut , Derango - Tumult , Para Halu - The World of Peace , Trimada - Left Behind (!!) and many more ...
  15. antic, you missed my favourite Squarepusher album ( Feed me weird things ) , or you have it already?
  16. Schlabbaduerst 002 Schlabbaduerst 005 Schlabbaduerst 006 Yay !

    Zeitgeist

Well Lemmi certain implementations of anarchism and a system without money has happened in small scales( jewish "kibbutz"(spelling)), Spain (short period, didn't prosper for long because the fascists won the war), Argentina ( economy based on trades only ) even Christiania in Denmark. If you ask me organization in small , self-sustained, self-organized social cells is feasible ... Also you say Sweden adapted capitalism , I think it pretty much adopter socialism too .
  18. My favourite schlabb, especially the first track is superb
  19. ^ Yeah, Scraqp is one of his best tracks production-wise , for sure ! Music-wise it's also very nice ...
  20. That's not bad per se, dark psychedelic trance is a fine genre in my book, enough gems in it Only problem is I am somehow skeptic towards Miranda making it.. But let's give her a chance, shouldn't we ?
