hehehe, I would've expected a joke about it being runned by a fish... Look, I believe the stuff about the Greek post office, I've heard this by other people before and I've also heard good stories about IT Record shop. But. The other thing is that the dates keep shifting when you say the packages will arrive. In this I agree with faze, you said the cds would arrive the 23rd. Another thing is that normally my emails were answered the same day, maybe even the same hour. The one I sent regarding the refunds after the 23rd have NOT been answered, and I usually get a message that says when an email is not delivered... But nevermind, I just expected these cds to arrive ages ago. Nevermind the fact that I've not had the chance to play em on a few gigs, I got plenty of other music. But seriously dude, if this really is the greek postoffice's fault, you must be having a terrible time sending stuff abroad....
-
Nope. I just sent an email... the email he sent to everyone claimed that the cds would arrive before july 23rd. It's the 26th and nothing has arrived, so I really want my money back. Too bad, cause it was such a good deal.

^exactly. and remember: it's not the acid that's doing weird stuff, it's the situation... the circumstances, your mindset, the weather, who you're with .... etc. etc. etc. acid = acid = acid = acid = acid = acid anyhoo, I did manage to get my hands on some DOB blotters... which were sold to another guy as mescaline, but that wouldn't make any sense (since you will never be able to fit >200 mg mescaline-salt/sulphate on a blotter. But the guy who told it was DOB, I believe him.

This is probably the creepiest and psychedelic-est album ever written. Darkpsy my ass. The atmosphere in this album is incredibly scary, but oh so beautiful. Seems like I can't get tired of hearing this one. Wow. So good!
-
Very daft punk -ish, very very daft punk indeed, you daft punk! Waw, this is incredible. Very sexy and musical, you should send this to the Bloodhound Gang or something, you might get rich and famous! Hahaha, I love this!
-
Yup, that was us. Supergroover hangs around here as well, by the way Kind words my friend, but now you made me curious who those guys were that told you that... Anyway, the arrival with all the broken houses and the lightning everywhere was quite creepy indeed, but exactly as happened in Turkey: a horrible start for an awesome festival, weather-wise at least. No really, I had a blast! We kinda played some weird and some funny songs, instead of the usual same same but different psychill... you can catch another glimpse at voov... Anyhoo: next time, just drop in to say 'high'. I like meeting new people and especially when they have an online face...

You guys happened to have been there mondaynight between 8 and 11 ? Or the next day, tuesday, from 3 to 7 in the afternoon?

What music are you listening to right now?

Carbon Based Lifeforms - Mos 6581 (rest of the album too, btw) -
Hah, this is probably my favorite Orb album. So many classics, so much psychedelia in every possible way. There's a great number of tracks I would dare to put in a Chillout set. Very, very varied album, I think it's a musthave for people who love oldschool psychedelic chillout... Good thing about this one it just doesn't sound dated. Because of the usage of so many different kinds of samples, it isn't condemned to the realm of old-age-synthies... Absolute Favorites: Ubiquity: cool old computergame sounds, very spaced out and weird, trippy, lovely melody underneath and very freaky in general. Bedouin; nice floating flutes here, weeeeiiiiiird samples again (they're everywhere, everywhere I tell ya!), more ambientistic than most other songs, cool stories underneath about this guy who says goodbye to his family S.A.L.T."do you ever get the feeling you're being followed?" as Seraph said, awesome conspiracy theory story here, very Orby and sometimes even Orbital-ish use of synth melody. Nice! Nice! Freaky! Toxygene: Very psychedelic and fragmented sampled buildup, ending in a car screaching, when the song gets more hectic and busy (around 2:00). Triphoppy beat, sweet melody, one of my alltime favorite Orb-songs. Gents, ladies, this album is sooooooooo damn good. I've listened to this again and again and again and again. Incredible stuff, Orb at its most, if you ask me!

the Orb - Orblivion and V/A - Feed your Head 2 long live eBay! My greek package from a month and a half ago still hasn't arrived...

I agree, mostly. But really, 1200 mics deserved it. Cause if each time they turn up and everybody shows up, when are they gonna take a look in the mirror? Not evarrrrgh. And since we had the opportunity to show 'em how we feel, we took it. I'm sorry for spoiling people's fun, but not for shouting Boo! Life's not all shanti shanti you know... and I'm pretty certain Chicago heard some Boo's.

Say what? You can't be critical? Tsssssk... I said that I had a great time and mean it too, but that doesn't mean I can't be critical. In my opinion, if you are critical, you can see what's wrong and how it can be improved and learn from that. Constructive criticism, that is. Only thing I can't be constructive on is 1200 mics. I think I've made myself clear about that already, but O M G! When you go to more and different festivals, maybe you can see better what's good and what's not, like the Groovefloor for example. That was an embarrassment compared to the huge mainfloor. Plus, IMO, if you have such a big lineup with so many BIG names, you know what you're gonna hear, because you know the music that well. So not too many surprises for me... And yeah, maybe it's arrogant to say that the whole festival was full of people without good taste, but if you saw that many people dance uncompromisingly to 1200 mics, it does make ya wonder, doesn't it? I felt ashamed even moving my body to that music. And I yelled boo! with a big smile on my face, hehehe. Location and weather were indeed nothing short of great, I agree. But I've also heard quite a lot of people say that Fullmoon grew a little too big too soon. Despite of all the big names, there were a few thousand people less than last year. One last comment: I can't understand why you think IM did a good rockshow (but that's me). I was walking towards the toilets when I met this english dude who also said they had a rockshow going on, but " if you want to see that, go see metallica, at least they're good!" He cracked me up.

Alright, I agree, but it did say Elysium in the Chillout... actually, it seemed like a rather big party (someone's birthday thing) - aka festival - but the flyer I saw was as basic as basic gets. Just plain white with the artist's names written on it. Know anything about this?? Anyhoo, at least you got booked: good thing!
-
Ah yeah, you're right. But still... I thought he explicitly stated he wasn't going to play in the chillout.. but I might not be totally right about that. Just reading the Isra-thread on the Tchamla-festival, man, it seems like EP was not quite the only one who got fucked over. Hahahaha, that is one pathetic thing that's happening right there... incredible!
-
^ Hmmm, I think you're missing the point here? Wasn't it his problem that he only got booked in the chillout, while he is not making Chillout music, but Goatrance instead?
-
You know what's funny?? I saw these flyers about a Danish festival this summer and guess who is playing in the chillout? Well?? GUESS!
-
It was so weird seeing such a crowded dancefloor when 1200 mics were playing. We were really trying our best to scream BOO, YOU SUCK, GET OFF THE STAGE!!! as loud as possible during every break, but eventually we got tired of trying and getting ugly looks from everybody that was having a ball... apparently. Sad to see that so many people lack good taste, but I guess Fullmoon festival wasn't the right place to find a lot of people with a good taste. And yeah, I know, good taste is subjective, but I can honestly say that this 1200mics thing was objectively totally horrid, pathetic and an embarrassing performance to everything that has anything to do with psychedelic. I mean, you should've seen it. There must be videos around. Imagine it! They even opened up the front of the podium so you could see Raja playbacking the flute, the bongo's and to see Chicago rock out on his little plastic guitar toy. THAT WAS ALL HE DID, the entire show! Oh no wait, at some points he also yelled; "let's all get high" "where is my lsd?" "let's go smoke hashish with lord shiva." That's not even singing and still he managed to make it sound totally false. He must have had some lessons from Duvdev, they were on the same level of awefulness. MY GOD! Hehehe, it was good for some good old malicious delight, I have to admit.

Conch's liveset @ FullMoon this year, which most people must've missed. Excellent idm-ish, very orb-inspired idmbient, much recommended! One of two worth checking dutch chillout live acts at this moment.
