  1. Ultimae CDs only cost a penny now? * runs off to ultimae.com *
  2. Really, there's been so many topics about this already... if only the search worked for three letter words like 'dub'...
  3. Ok, I'm finally voting. But what happened to: Hallucinogen - In Dub LIVE Lauge & Baba Gnohm - Monolith

Because he's DUTCH! Us Dutchies are known for being cheap!

Without saying anything substantial about the argument between Zen and Bwhale, I can explain to you guys that I completely understand why he would want this in the open. Bwhale is a really annoying troll who gets off at pissing people off and by ruining their reputations. If it were my reputation being ruined by some little fucker like Bwhale, I'd want people to know it's not really my fault. Cause however it might have gone, if bwhale's involved it's most probably because of him. Just to clear that up.
  6. Was that an officially released cd? Or could it have been an (anonymous) dj-mix? If the last thing's the case, it makes the search much harder. But Wagon Christ, Man With No Name, Orbital, The Orb, all on one cd... that doesn't sound like there's many options. Also, it sounds like it could've been mixed by The Orb. ?

    That sounded great.
  8. I think if they had taken the abstraction of their sound one step further I would have found it too difficult to enjoy as well. I think the quality of their sound has improved a lot over the years (especially when compared to Amber and Incunabula) and that it's not a bad thing this album is somewhat more easily comprehensible. I say: listen to the music itself as if it were fresh and brand new and don't try to judge it by comparing it to some sort of progression they should have continued, or something. No artist is supposed to do anything, if you ask me. But you don't really think they made this album for the fans that they lost 5 albums ago, do you? Honestly? My suspicion is that they made this because they like to.
  9. ^I'm impressed! Listened to the whole thing twice in a row and have to admit I was diggin' it. Good stuff!
  10. Oh my god I'm listening to psytrance http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=43B7tkOIdY8
  11. Yeah, I agree, after two listens of the new Autechre I can surely agree it's sounding very nice indeed. And yes, more easy to handle than 2009 Quaristice.
  12. Fuck it. Squaremeat. Someone take my turn if I'm right...
  13. At the moment, something completely shitty on radio. But in a few hours... MONOLAKE LIVE SURROUND. (Read here what this entails) \o/ Very curious, have wanted to see him perform live for some time now. Yay!
  14. Ok, now I agree with a lot of your stuff, Sawfly, but wouldn't mind a description of what you are posting and why I should listen to it.
  15. I'll transport your reply half a mile westwise and say you're absolutely spot on. This doesn't count as Soho? Oh well, since Dark Covent Garden isn't a psytrance act, it just has to be Dark Soho. Good job, mister. Your turn.
  16. This artist has several albums released and uses live instruments when performing... Also, the city I was referring to is indeed London.
  17. No takers on my picture? Hint: it's a place in a quite large 'European' city.
  18. ^Hahahaha. To quote the good ol' doctor: "There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge." Good night. And you were quite wrong about my pic.
  19. Bersarin Quartett - Bersarin Quartett [classicalslash ambient with a subtle touch of idm] Clubroot - Clubroot [excellent, slightly darkish atmospheric smoked down dubstep] Miles Davis - Bitches Brew [acid jazz, rock'n'roll baby! psychedelic stuff] Kid Loco - Blues Project [downtempo, don't know it well enough to describe] Hux Flux - Cryptic Crunch [one of my all time favorite psychedelic trance records] Wax Tailor - Hope and Sorrow [instrumental hiphop, jazzy, funky] Radiohead - In Rainbows Double CD [this is becoming my favorite album of the previous decennium fast! King Tubby - King At The Control [the originator in dub!] Ochre - Like Dust Of The Balance [very nice new release by ochre, idmbient at its best] Bonobo - Live Sessions [bonobo is the shit; ninja tune style, instrumental emotional organic triphop (for lack of a better description] Pink Floyd - More Blues [live album that I just discovered] Autechre - Oversteps [new album, just out, completely illegaly downloaded... but if I like, I buy, yesyes] The Beatles - Revolver [classic] Kelpe - Sea Inside Body [if you don't know Kelpe, go check him out! Organic idm ish, with a real instrumental feel] Beastie Boys - To The 5 Boroughs [you're a Beastie fan or you're not, but I can't get enough of them] Boards of Canada - Unreleased Live Materal [found on p2p, some real gems in here ] Harmonic313 - When Machines Exceed Human Intelligence [2009 warp release, dunno exactly what is is yet, but since it's warp it's guaranteed to be weird]
  20. Actually, I'm pretty sure I'm right. (Ormion was right, I'm getting better at this) So here's the next one.
