A bit of XDream, a bit of Noma and you have SBK. That's quite good, some tracks have some groove...ok 7/10.

this is very VERY minimal. my favourite: "Witch Bed?" which has an excellent groove. The rest is too minimalist for me... 5/10. Album really for minimalism lovers...really.

V/A - Morning Of Magic Artist: Various Title: Morning Of Magic Label: ??? Date: 1998 Track listing: 01. 08'13" Syntezia : Heaven Gates 02. 07'05" Psycholoop : Many Voices 03. 07'45" Electric Bunder : Morning Of Magic 04. 07'37" Syntezia : Migroman 05. 05'53" Stargate : Hypnotic Flute 06. 08'59" Psycholoop : Dead Circle 07. 08'02" Stargate : Manikin 08. 07'33" Syntezia : DNA 09. 08'37" Stargate : Venus Review: I was forced to listen to this thing not long ago, so as a vengeance, here's an express review: It's a typical "Impulse-Tracker-for-dummies" Ptzatzot compilation. Since the very first track you want to runaway. More seriously, this is boring with those exagerated israeli sounds, those too fast rythms, those melodies that all look the same. I don't even think a ptzatzot fan would appreciate this. Yeah there are interesting things, but altogether, it's 5 seconds scattered all over the compil, so...bhwaaa I can add the 3rd tune is the accelerated twin of i don't remember what Mystica track. please forget this review or kill your neighbors with this CD!! 2/10.
-
Yes it's experimental. No i wouldnt even try to compare it to a Shpongle album...no no no.
-
Indeed that is bad. same mark.
-
This is a bit....too much. i heard this album once and it was difficult to bear it till the end...its main flaw is that it's a bit of anything that makes it a big nonsense (portnawak). With more work it would have been excellent..."as it", it's too unmethodical/disjointed. I must add that some other albums there were reviewed with a better mark, while they were worse. 3.5/10

Asura - Code Eternity Artist: Asura Title: Code Eternity Label: Infinium Date: 2000 Track listing: 01. 10'18" Like A Summer Day 02. 10'07" Trinity 03. 10'24" Simply Blue 04. 08'07" Phoenix 05. 09'26" Code Eternity 06. 04'27" Territories Part One 07. 09'12" XP Continuum Review: -THIS is Ambient- I have tons of Ambient at home, and honestly this is one of the best ones. The style is not pure chill (with waterfalls or butterfly flutterings , this is what you can hear during a party's warm-up, when there is slow rhythm, but its still not time to dance, but Listen. On the first Three tracks, you have slow rhythm, ambient background, simple instruments on the front, surrounding hypnotic acid loops. The 4th is total ambient in some parts...relax...and powerful & kicking in some parts. ok. The 5th track gives a lot of energy thru lots of hypnotic distorted layers above lots of other smooth layers & cool kick. Territories is pure ambient with voices & flows...mmmh XP Continuum is another cool track..it makes me think about a heart that beats in a dream. What we got here is a nice nice nice album. 9/10 for Ambient lovers.

S.A.M.E ! 9/10 overall. Watch the next releases of this little genius.

I didn't like this compil. ok most of the tracks are quite cool, that's all. But there is nothing really attractive in those 2 cds; The tracks are not according with each other very well; The mix is bad; You really don't feel anythin while listening to it; No soul, a psy-commercial thing. Only one good thing: XVKilist - Kante gives a good funny ending. 5/10.
-
that's not psytrance. there's a lot of work ok, and that 'sounds' like UX stuff, but this is only breakbeat. 3/10.
-
Well...this is good & bad. To my mind the tracks have no soul: they are quite goodn but they pass & you feel nothing. ANYWAY I really like tracks 7 & 8 (the Analog Dream & the Suntec). If you like melodic trance this should be ok for you. 5 or 6/10.
-
I don't agree. This is cool, ok, but it doesn't deserve the maximum mark. no no no. I agree with the review but i'd only give 7/10. As a matter of fact if you liked the others flights, it's for you as it's better than latest flights. If you never managed to like the flights, don't buy.
-
I DO agree. My baby is minimal but not as senseless as the rest of MOS stuf. Timing is MAAAD (bass & kicks dangerous for your sanity). 7.5/10 too.
-
...without forgetting Fluorostani Transcendance which is a "hard & fast speacial nervous dancefloor" track, and Accelerator & Internal Horizon which are classics (a bit too classic?). This compil used to be rather good, could have been better. But there are tracks for different tastes...that's why delli likes the tracks of the first half only and I like some tracks of the 2n half too. By the way I prefer AirBorn (AFR too) rather than this compil.
-
At the begining, I didnt like this compilation very much....but i've changed my mind now. Beware: this is only Israeli stuff. Remember the name: Full On! So imagine this compil is really conventional psychedelic music...and I think this is really good. tracks 1-2-3: great great great!, 4-5: always the same for those artists..., 6: excellent!, 7: nice try, 8: good, 9: too oldschool but okay. My favorites are 1-3-6. overall: 8/10. for psychedelia lovers.

No no nooo i don't agree at all !! This is no shpongle..this is much simpler breakbeat/electro. Remember this album has absolutely nothing to do with the first Deviant Electronics one!! Anyway i must admit that -for a breakbeat album- that's good. But that's NOT psychedelic. That's what BueRoom has been providing us with for more that one year. That's probably for those who don't like full on and that don't like minimalistic psytrance either !!!

Those tracks must be listened to in a party. They'd be just part of the deliria. Each time those tracks were played in a party, everyone would dance without trying to understand. Yes, at home this wonderful mass-effect isn't there, as Anoebis said. But do you think Ricktam & Bansi prefer seeing people dancing in their flat? eheheh nooo! Party is part of their mescalined-DNA. Anyway what we have here is a set of true killers. don't expect anything else than GMS GMS GMS & GMS style. So if you don"t like GMS, please stop reading. Every track was probably done out of hallucinations...Los amigos han probablemente traido unas pequeñas ideas. Everything is very fast with vibrating rabbit sounds on several layers, and those killer breaks & re-entries! My favs: 2,3,5,7,8,9. party mark: 9/10 & home mark:7/10

Very very good EP. The first time i heard it I was in a shop and some girl was dancing on it... Awesome.
-
A.W.E.S.O.M.E a MUST have !!!
-
Absolutely great EP...kicking, moving, twisting...an old bomb, but...a bomb anyway. 9/10
-
I agree with dieznyik: one track is ~rather bad, and the other is really good!! 6/10.
-
Yes: this is morning trance. After a moment it becomes really boring for your ears And your brain. Moreover, the album is all the same. It's too....morning for me. 4.5/10.

Due to its authors, Vacuum Tube looks like a X-Dream production on some tracks (eg 1, 4, 5), and a Planet Ben Prod on some other tracks. Basically the tracks are good. I really like Amplifier with its powerful sounds all along. And the whole album is full of energy; don't expect multiple overlays or twisting sounds all along. That's more underlying, more mental indeed. The BIG problem is that nearly all the tracks were released before. So there is no mystery, even at the first listening. That's a brilliant record, ok, but it seems to be more a collection than a brand new production. So, 6.5/10.

Total Eclipse / Resurex - BFLT 64 Artist: Total Eclipse / Resurex Title: BFLT 64 Label: Dragonfly Date: 2000 Track listing: 01. 06'37" Total Eclipse : Bimone 02. 07'21" Resurex : Copine Review: The Bordeaux mad crew is back to the roots on Dragonfly, but the sound is far from being roots: The Total Eclipse track was written by Serge: no problem, you can recognize the Total Eclipse touch, but the sounds are more "in fashion", that is: more dark. Fortunately, the track itself is good, really not monotonous....this is what you can expect from TE ! The Resurek track was written by Stepane/TE And J.Sogabe. The track has also inherited more recent souns. It's kicking, there's a lot of energy in it, the sounds all around are just in the good place to give the listener a break...moreover I like the little sounds at the end. What else? Buy the black BFLT64 with the green sticker ! 8/10.

Very oldschool very psychedelic trance. The album is a bit all the same. Globally worth buying if you like fullon psy music. 7/10.
