Hey guys, it is being coded ! it will come with psynews v2 of the site. some cookies will identify you when you logon. then reviews will get better (at least in the begining) as for the forum, we dont feel like forcing people to register this psynews v2 does exist. its a very big website, lightyears ahead from this one in terms of functionnality. lets be precise : - the news - who we are / faq / what is goa - reviews - incoming - interviews - links - forum (of course) - contest => are ready for beta release (!) - parties => is the seciton i'm hardly coding these days - artists infos (lots of improvements are planned) - favourites - shops (big cut'n'paste of the links section) => are still to be done -search => is no more necessary, but it will reappear as a global site search engine (not 4 poor scripts) - guestbook => will rest in peace... When this is done, we have an alpha version And then there are a few other functionnalities left to code And i have to code a better admin section And i have a huge post-prod list of things to add and fix (ideas we had during the development, little bugs, etc....) And i have to buid a complete site+database backup system And i have to write scripts to store static data (mainly text of reviews, probably 20000) on the database And we have to clean everything up and migrate in one night (!!!!!) And then we'll launch psynews2 beta. 1) This MOS remix is pure warfare! Stomping relentlessly, it makes you trip increasingly. It seems this track breathes...Some background sounds brainscrewed me. won-der-ful !!! 2) It's linear in the begining, with some light groove in it. When it starts to kick your ears alternatively, it gets more mental and enjoyable...but not enough to make people jump... 3) This one scratches your cortex hard after an intro coming from a fairytale. It lets you breathe in the middle before it sends you highighigh in a mix of minimal and typical sweedish sounds..woah what a slap in the face ! (i don't copy the first review...it does make this strong effect) 4) After the brainscrewer and the brainsucker, here is the braincutter. whack whack whack...we are in a factory...whack whack whack...red alert...whack whack whack...a big sequence of massive blasting sounds, just before it restarts all in one ! eat that ! *AN EP TO HAVE*

with registration - if we let people enter their login/pass for every review they wanna add, there will be far less reviews - if we add some cookies to auto-login users, we are facing the same problem as before. registration is a good thing, yes. but it is useless for such a frequented section as reviews.

i'd like to have that dieznyik, but a computer isnt intelligent enough to decide well anyway, whatever the choice is, there will be too many crap reviews, so we'll have to find some guy (i know who) who will check new reviews every day. i'm really sorry but we have to. the problem isnt there. currently, the first review is always acceptable because there is a guy who writes it on purpose, and copies the tracklisting and everything, and sends it to children. this is some work. then there are reviews added by our visitors. so even if one guy reads the very first review, this is useful to him. if we choose -not- to include a first review with a release, the average quality of the reviews will not change, but there are big chances the average quality of the first review will drop dramatically !! so here is our dilemma. but by moderation i don't mean removing every non-detailed review. i think there are 3/4 types of reviews : - detailed ones - informational ones (eg : there is a better remix of this track on that release") - short ones (yeah this album/compil/ep is good/bad ) - crap ones we only want to delete the last category but we'd also like to see a detailed review in the first place. and that only relies on you. the poll gave 52% to the 'without first review' solution...this is too average to take a decision, i emailed children to know what he wants to do.
