  2. Found the second for a standard CD price so decided to get the whole series.
  3. I never heard La Sexorcisto. I really should! I'd not really classify Astro Creep as distinctly electronic either, much more metal with some electronic music touches and distortions/manipulations. I was happily surprised to find it listed on Discogs last night as part-electronic in it's genre placement. Such great character and story-telling in that album! I'm glad you liked them too, there can never be too many White Zombie fans of old! =)
  4. Yeah! I must have played that album about a million times between the ages of 14-18. I can still pretty much play the whole thing in my head without putting it on. Was one of my introductory albums to heavy sampling and musical intensity. I remember when I got my first CD player I got that album and another with it. Anyway....
  5. You can't put a monopoly on the occurrence of inspiration like that. You will not be BOUND to copy them. If someone creates some music that inspires an intensity of feeling or brilliance in me, it might inspire me to create some form of artistic output or perform some action inspired by that intensity, but it will have nothing to do with copying. If you use a candle to light another candle will the flame have been copied? Now if I tried to copy that person's STYLE through reverse engineering and tried to move that way from the outside to the inside to create then you'd probably get a fairly useless piece of shit. But if I choose to use the intensity or brilliance that it inspired inside of me and use that to create from the inside to the outside then there is much less of a chance that I'm going to be copying. I might even get inspired by the poorness of some person's music and choose to create on that basis, would I have copied? Sorry if my reply is out of context with the general flow of the conversation, I just chose to take your post as a standalone entity and reply on that basis.
  6. Not truly my first exposure but these were the initial albums that really fuelled my love for the sound.

  8. Yeah hell yeah, I've only listened to about three tracks so far and really enjoyed(deep, gripping, powerful and satisfying) what I was hearing so I ordered it. I was either going to get this or Liquid Flow's album. Now eagerly waiting arrival!
