  1. Monthy Python's Allways Look on the Bright Side of Life .... remix could be made by ... Misted Muppet or some other group that usually don't make Jolly Happy Positive-sounding stuff. [not to say Misted Muppet is dark psy or anything..]
  2. I haven't fully 'got' that album yet, but I like this more every time I listen o it. I'd give 6/10 at the moment, but it will most likely rise.
  3. I personnally think it's on, but there is always hope don't get me wrong, I like the track, but I surely like other Shpongle more (especially Are You Shpongled? stuff)
  4. MacGyver would be killer! To be serious, I'm actuallly afraid the GMS dudes might even do it one day
  5. Entheogenic - Invisible Landscapes
  6. Hah! Same here, mate -------- eh..., actually I heard the original and unfortunately the only tnew thing in the remix is the better quality of sound... Can anyone tell for _sure_, if Simon co-produced the original track or was it only Graham and Raja?
  7. My comments (based by the 3-minute samples): /EPIC HAIR/ Hmm... it will probably grow on me, but the first impression is not much. It's .... well it's the new posford style started with My-Loony-Um (or well, maybe magick), but in my opinion gone worse over time. Anyway seems that that sound is where twisted is going at the moment. To me Epic Hair is too plain and progressive, but as I said, it can grow on me. /LONG LONG ARMS/ It's not bad, but it's not good either. It doesn't have much more, but the progressiveish groove I guess. I liked hair a bit better. /STRETCH TASTIC/ Yeah, these vocals are nice I guesss... tho shamanix mumbling and trancepotter gibberish is better imo. But the whole track seems blank... No peak in it, at least in the sample. Boring.... I don't like it. /OSCAR/ It sounds innovative and groovy, but not quite my style. Still the best one by far. I hope it will grow on me, cause it seems to be the best prometheus track for me. Not much _psychedelic trance_ in it tho :/ /LOST AND PROFOUND/ I have never heard Tristan before. I just haven't.. Well this is the kindof psy taht uses these.. umm... blues(?) samples.. like Cosmosis - Down at the Crossroad or .... Feuerhake - Bombay Blues... the samples nice I guess, but where's all the 'morning' in it taht was promised? This one is not for me. /BALLOON DANCE/ Wow. I recognize some Ozric elements in it and some hallucinogenic too. This (and maybe Oscar) are best by far. This one is the only one that reminds me the Deranger times too /GROW MORE POT/ Ugh. Too minimal and too fullon (I know it isn't either minimal nor fullon by definicion). I will start to like it if I hear more of it, I know. But first impression - this sucks. /BLACK OPS/ Err. Isn't this one really a Posford collaboration? Cause it sure reminds me some of his elements... Best track on compilation and the only one that hasn't been made by the twisted residents.... Leaves me wondering... Conclusion: I won't by it. I would concider it if it was an vinyl, but cd? Not really. Tracks I like more than avarage: Hikikomori, Metal Sharon, Prometheus Tracks I like above avarage: Tristan, Prometheus+Tristan.
  8. Ok, I must admit I am a bit bored... But I want to study your tastes a bit so I know what people's opinion on music I can trust (because they are similar to me). So... it's probably asked before a 1000 times, but what are your favourite pieces of music, something that you really 'groove' to, when at a party or chilling at home or whatever. No style boundaries. My top for all-timers are as follows: (no specific order, other than nr 1 being probably the nr 1) 1 - Shpongle - ...And the Day Turned to Night * - Hallucinogen - Solstice (Warwick Bassmonkey) * - Subkha - Equinox * - Nomads of Dub - Spirals BTW. I know I said no boundaries and my faves are all Posford's chill tunes that come from 2 different albums, but that's just what my taste has come to.
  9. I emailed to the Psyshop info... and I got the answer that they don't ship to Estonia. I'll try Chaos and Saiko, thanks.
  10. I have wanted to buy stuff online, especially psyshop.com, but I found out that they simply don't ship stuff to my country (Estonia)... Does anyone know a shop with wider delivery range?
  11. Worst 'psy' realease to my taste (that I have heard): Guiterminator - Dark Force. That track is Some more popular stuff I don't like: 9.9 out of 10 new releases, maybe more. The previous year I only really enjoyed Talpa, The Misted Mupept and Filteria albums from psytrance. (though I haven't heard even half of the 2004 realeases )
  12. I really like Magick and My-Loony-Um, but I haven't understood Beautiful People yet. Maybe it will come to me one day, but I doubt it. It has onthing Posford in it. *shrug*
  13. 1. Classical Mushroom 2. The Gathering gap 3. BP Emire huge cap converting vegetarians (really like some tracks from side 2 tho) im the supervisor (this one is fking schmaltz!) PS. To me Infected Mushroom lost it somewhere around BP Empire. Empire was still really good, but it all went downhill from there.....
  14. IMO, the long long arms is not THAT bad, but it's not awesome either. @ Psychiatrist: Magick isn't actually bad. I find the effect-blendign and such really enjoyable there. It's an unique track to me. I agree with you on Beautifull people tohugh. It has to be the worst Posford track ..
  15. I usually dislike such music, but I've got one favourite among it: try Psychotic Micro - Kamelot is Burning. Each time I hear it I get these visions of war, blood, violence, ppl dying etc. But I quite like it nevertheless U should try that one and maybe some more Psychotic Mikro, if you like it.
  16. MY TRACK Ill Renegade Ninja - Recreational Tripping Quite original dub style, not much psychedelic... trippy nevertheless, so give it a try All comments welcome ___________ btw don't distribute it w/o my premission
  17. I recognize only those: Hallucinogen - The Herb Garden Hallucinogen - Gamma Goblins (Turtles All the Way Down Mix) Celtic Cross - Shwazz [i love that track!!] I don't know how much more there is and how much is your own creation, but I kinda like the track (not much tho , but it's funny). I'd call this psychedelic tribal breaks house
  18. ENTHEOGENIC! Ok, to speak the truth I haven't heard Bluetech ... But Entheogenic's Spontanious Illusion has 3 excellent tracks: Ground Luminosity, Twilight Eyes and Invisible Landscapes. Shulman I have heard and I'd say it's really good, but still a _bit_ more dull than Entheogenic. Ofcourse no person can decide over the other's choice, but as you asked opinions, mine is: Entheogenic is awesome. In my opinon they don't copy shpongle directly, but yes, it's the same style... Another artist to concider is Carbon Based Lifeforms... They have a few excellent tracks like comsat and central plains.... Try to get the mp3-s and then decide which one to actually buy, if you can't afford them all

    Filteria - Sky Input

amazing sutff. Snuggling snail is my favourite stream atm
  20. My top 3: 1) Talpa - The Art of Being non 2) The Misted Muppet - From the Legend 3) Filteria - Sky Input
  21. My personal view to this album is: Best album I have heard in 2004. The Misted Muppet From the Legend is second in my list, so I seem to be as many others in this board. But I don't think that these 2 albums are from the cheesy popular new fullon clones. I have listened almost all samples this year at psyshop.com and most ( not to say everything, but very few exceptions) stuff sounds extremely bad to me. So I guess this album (together with From the Legend) is somewhat a reminder of classic stuff... Anyway. People are Animals is this years second best track in my opinion (1st is TIP - Stimuli (Hallucinogen rmx) and The Moon has OUTSTANDING elements (although it has some flaws IMO as well)
