  2. bpm counters are totally useless !!!! I have never seen one that is accurate enough to fully rely on ...

  4. I'm still looking for when bernie was a tree ....
  5. I already have most suomi cd's that's why I ask for oldschool thx psychofunk rules althought I think T.i.f.f. is better and funkier .... It was while I was listening to my psychofunk 12" (other side howling at the moon !!!) I came up with the idea to start this thread ....

    IDM

that stuff has nothing to do with IDM : it's goa/psychedelictrance :suomi and australian trance to be more precise
  7. well I still have to hear it (will be in my mailbox monday).... he came and played at our last party in february and totally trashed the place with his music. For me he makes the best darkpsy.... I really like his breaks and the speed of his tracks ..... He is currently working on his second album this time for the noisepoison guys ....
  8. does it ??? I know cosmosis has some funky tracks but I was wondering if there is more funky stuff out there (suomi style)....

  16. well they found a lot of dope and I mean a lot, they started by searching everybody but this went way too slow so after that they only controlled people without a blank register.... I made sure I didn't take more then 3grs back home (3gr is allowed) .... the floor was filled with pills and weed so I was hard to resist ....
  17. no they didn't even search for it .... We had to give them our id and I had to wait till it was my turn (6pm) .... they checked my name in the computer but since I have a clean register and it was already turning evening they let me go .... I've spent the afternoon smoking all the weed I found on the ground and even took some of it back home ....
  18. a party belgian freaks will remember for a long time 30 mins after the astral gig 150 policemen spoiled the fun = razzia .... They kept me inside on a wet floor filled with dope from 9 am till 18 pm ....

  21. One of the reason why I stick to only 2-3 styles (not one like you said) is simple : I still have a lot of fullon cd's and can very easy spin a set with them but I am sure that there are many dj's out there who are far better than me ... So I've chosen 2-3 styles wich I'm good at => always quality above quantity. I prefer to be good at 1 thing that to be mediocore at 2 things... any examples of me saying fuck you to the crowd you have only heard me play 2-3 times? Througout whole this discussion I get the intention that you think to know what the crowd wants (that must be your magical abillity)... I gave up this idea a few years ago that's why I play music I like for myself and try to find an audiance with the same taste not the otherway around. I think I have suceeded in this since I mainly get booked on parties where they specifically ask to play the stuff I normally play so no need to say fuck you to the crowd....By the way if I get booked on a full on party I still would play the same stuff I usually do but slow it down a bit but if they ask me to play full on I'll say no. I've played sets (maybe 2) for the crowd (when I still played south african fullon) and afterwards people came complaining (like they always do) and I was like shit man you are right and I felt bad about it... Now I play music I like and when they complain I have something like hé good for you I liked it very much so maybe I'm not your kind of dj... You simply cannot please everyone....
