I love gay music then, just listening to the album right now, and it is nice
-
it sounds a lot like tycho, in fact the synth is exactly what tycho uses all the time
-
lol i like it!
i agree, the more you listen to it, the more its brilliant!
after the first listen, i wasnt sure about this, but yeah, thius is kind of genius, i like the piano especially from 1 min 10 until 1:33
-
the vocal do sounds cheesy, but the vibe of the song is quite funI agree, I Am You sounds horribly cheesy... I can't stand those vocals, they give me the shivers.
-
so far for me, its really not a good yearInvisible man... I've already learned the base part of it, and wow it's just written to perfection. I love the other samples.
2009 looks like the best year for music I can remember.
-
the samples sounds freakin nice, the magic from ays is long time gone, but damn, those samples still are intense
I am you is cheesy? i dont hear it that way, it sounds pretty sweet, i cant wait!
INVISIBLE MAN IN A FLUORESCENT SUIT sounds likes a masterpiece, the way the songs come into life is incredible! at least its without any doubt quality again
-

kettel-Volleyed Iron best ambient i've heard in my life
im sleeping with it everynight in repeat, among all the ambient songs from kettel- for 3 month! and im still literally amaze everytime i wake up during the night, or in the morning laying in my bed
-
i think that the bends must be my favorite from themRadiohead - Street Spirit (Fade Out)
-
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BkWP8vthfns this is a masterpiece
-
well blutech uses only a laptop, and wisp uses fruity loop6. Laptop's running Fruity-Poops
-
fresh
but i got to admit, i dont dig it
-
maybe the order, and add something from wisp, but otherwise, good choice!1. Plaid- Double Figure
2. U-ziq- Lunatic Harness
3. Autechre- LP5
4. Global Goon- Cradle of History
5. Bogdan Raczynski- Samurai Math Beats
6. Aphex Twin- Richard D. James Album
7. Kettel- Look at This! Ha! Ha! Ha!
8. Squarepusher- Big Loada
9. Boards of Canada- Twoism
10. Plug- Drum 'N' Bass for Papa
Is any of this worth argueing?
-
okay i understand, but all im saying, is that yes he did something original, but the result is just not that lovely, other artist for me has done a similar exploration of this side of electronica, and come out with better result, more fun to listen.Bricolage because of the memories followed by Supermodified and Permutation sharing the second place. Out from Out Where and Foley Room are very good too
And for murphythecat; What I got from your first posts was that you thought that Amon Tobin had no real talent, ripped everyone off and was bearly listenable. I think you might wanna do some research and think before you post. It's natural to say that you don't like something but you always seem to come off like as you were the only person on earth who has a good taste in music and if someone disagrees they are just stupid.
and not square pusher, cause really, amon tobin is defenitly better then square
-
so pertinentWho cares?
-
you did not understand what i mean? that explains a lotLeague? What are you talking about?
-
why do you care so much about what i think of amon tobin?
-
okay now, i shared a opinion. I have no idea what i am talkin about, i just gave an example of why i am saying that amon tobin is not alone in his league. YOU dont seem to know what you are talkin aboutéThe cat named Murphy because originality and complexity mean everything even though he has no idea what he's talking about
-
Well, they seemed to careWho the fuck cares? Just listen to the music and be happy
-
yeah we talked about the originality of amon tobin, i get it, he is originalFlashbulb track was released in 2004 and easy muffin back in 1997. Wisp track in 2003 and dream Sequence since its from the same album as easy muffin@Bricolage also in 1997.
All the artists that you mention are Amon's grandchildren, get it??
now i was only talkin about similar point between amon tobin and other artist
since They thought that amon tobin had no ressemblance whatsoever with the flashbulb or wisp
-
and how can you not see any similar pointDude, all you needed to say is that you don't like his stuff, but what you did was bring up alot of comparisons to artists that are no way similar to Amon Tobin. Seriously, I don't think Amon Tobin's jazzy breaks is no way near Kettel or Venetian Snares. Some other Ninja Tune artists may be the closest, but Amon Tobin is one of a kind even if you don't want to admit it
or wisp:
then amon tobin:
ooooh it looks kind of the same
from the flashbulb:
then amon tobin:
oooh a bit the same
euh from venetian snares
and from black film http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1117N099q4Y&feature=related
-
euh yes, but you still can make comparison between those artistWell aren't they then?
-
the flexe album love programming song is NOT psychill its IDM, it doesnt belong there, but its an awsome album
-
