  1. Hi Buddy, Freewebs is allright. I need more flexibility, and much more bandwidth and space. I have built like 4 websites, all that didn't quite work, so this time I am taking my time, trying to figure out exactly what I might do. Have you looked at jamroom? it is the software twisted sessions is built with. but I still want more or less of something. I am not quite sure, I might use joomla, but I need to figure out which host and template. but freewebs is allright, I might give it a quick shot. we will see. Thanks Again
  2. also, I really enjoyed the vocals, were they yours?
  3. This is a really cool track, I like the speed, I think the drums can be brought out a bit more. maybe a nice crushing comp on a sub mix will do the trick. ok, cheers buddy
  4. Thanks Mate, Thats a very warm reply. I appreciate it. Yes the video is a little lacking, I am looking into buying some more video soft, and trying to figure out what else I can do. I have a lot of work to do, a website to build, visuals to make better, more tracks to write... arrg, ok, well, cheers again Wave

  6. Hi guys, would totally appreciate it if one of you visual artists can help set my latest piece of music to video, to be thrown all over web. plz pm if you are curious and or interested. cheers ws
  7. You are writing music very quickly man, and every track of yours has a different theme, new chord progression, and other elements that show you are quite adept at music. I think you should try sound designing all your own sounds. When you learn to sound design you will develop a very unique style of track production. I think a lot of the sounds in your latest work are not feeling each other the way they could. If you design your sounds to work together you will have some very awesome stuff. I know you can do it. You have probably convinced yourself its rather difficult. UM, it is. Still, you should explore the possibility of creating your own kiks, bass, snrs/claps, synth lines, etc. I think this would be the next level for you. I think it would bring your music to a new level. If you have any questions on sound design, feel free to pm and ask. Cheers
  8. another excellent effort from you tonight. I really enjoyed it, think you would be making some cool chillout. Perhaps a most gentle beat would put it at that level. Meanwhile, its quite funny, I listen to all tracks inside NI traktor dj, a fine program if you ever feel like picking it up. As I use Abe LIve for all my composing and performance traktor dj may seem like a bit extra, but its so important when you are fiddling with as much music as us computer musicians tend to fiddle with. AH yes, anyways, I don't know if it matters to you or not, but your tracks mix very well with a wide variety of music. :-) I think this is a good thing. They are very workable. Also. This mix seemed very good. I can hear you have been watching the fx levels. sounding very tight mate. Cheers Mate
  9. Hi mate, I think unnamed 08 track may be a slight bit bass heavy as well. Anyways this is a bad ass track. Really nice cause the sounds are hard edge but kept very well under control at the same time. Cool cheers
  10. Hi, nope I am just software synthesizers and sound design right now. i might buy a hardware synth eventually, right now like I said, I am saving up for a new audio card... mine from mackie is just not up 2 par. as for sound design. shucks I guess I started with the book " how to make a noise " and progressed through five. currently I am reading, " computer sound design and synthesis techniques and programming " with other books on my list. to make cymbals and open I htz i am still layering samples with full plans to move to complete synthesis of those soon... closed hi htz for me are usually coming off triangle waves, kiks from sine waves, claps out of white noise... and for the rest of the virtual instruments in my tracks, pretty much anything goes, I use saw, sq, pulse, I actually have thousands of wavetables on my machine I am working with.... Wavetable synthesis is my prefered method. Although I am very much into Waveshaping synthesis as well. the korg electribe looks pretty nice though. Cheers
  11. This is a very good track for this type of music. its very fast, and distorted. I think you did very well. :-) cheers
  12. Hi mate, I am running a macbook pro with Ableton LIve 7 for my audio. I do not use illegal soft. I own a license to everything in my toolbox. On top of Abe LIve I am using 2 top market AU synths, a good filter, and some great eqs and compressors. What I really need to do is buy a much better audio card. I have a mackie and I do not think the DAC converters are any good. Currently I am investigating a Motu Traveller. Also, I might have mentioned, but I am producing without sample packs and presets. I am making all my own sound design, everything in my tracks, all sounds, reverb, eq, compressor settings, I have created from scratch. I think youtube very much so compresses the audio. I place one link for a 320 kbs mp3 here if anybody is interested. http://www.4shared.com/account/file/408400..._the_Light.html love music, life... Always Cheers
  13. This is pretty wicked too mate. Very out there and ambient. I very much enjoyed. I liked how you tied it all together in the end. Keep em coming 4 sure Laterz
  14. Hi Mate, yep, definitely not much of a vid, I have tried again and again to remake it. I don't know where I am going on my visual side. actually I have no idea what to do, and how to go about it. about the bass... hmm, yep, maybe the level can be raised a bit. I appreciate the feedback and will do a test mix sometime this week when my ears are fresher with the bass a little louder. I am using a program named quartz composer to try and make my vids. do you have any other ideas? cheers
  15. Hi mate. you have some cool dark sounds. and your mixes are allready sounding way tighter. Awesome :-) Keep em coming
  16. Hi, thanks mate. you might have to refresh your browser cash, anyways a direct link to my new youtube is in my sig. :-) cheers buddy
  17. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmMJwh6DWyg plz refresh your browser cash if link does not work --- cheers new vid, now the music is not terribly compressed. ok... craziness in the name of music and art, uh, what can we do LOL if you wish, its better to download the 4shared, cause not so compressed.
  18. Hi all, I have my latest completed work with a youtube vid showcasing my poor graphic design skills. and a 192 mp3 download. Thoughts, feelings, feedback, all very much appreciated. http://www.4shared.com/file/40839708/8dfa5...ght_192kbs.html Hi, sorry about this, coming soon is a youtube video, I am changing the video, so I will bump the thread when it is done :-) sorry cheers Have a nice one. WaveShapist
  19. Hi buddy... just try using less reverb, I don't see why you need a compressor to simply use less verb... lol anyways, this is a great collective of radical coders, some freeware, some donationware I believe. http://www.smartelectronix.com/ laterz
  20. Hi mate, I took a listen to your two new tracks. Not quite sure how much feedback you are looking. I really like your sounds and style, but imho, some of this mixing can use a bit more practice. Reverb amounts, delay amounts, a little higher than is good for the production. ok? :-) just a friendly thought. not a come down. Cheers Buddy
  21. I've been listening to your tracks as well. I really enjoy this Timekill one. its got a very deep vibe. nice energy. its almost light industrial electro, nice blend. sweet mate. laterz
  22. Oh thanks mate, I like your music as well. I took a listen to the tracks in your thread and all. Very clean mixes and everything :-) Low end is often times my trouble spot, but I continuing to try and shake this barrier. um, I started working on a new one today, um, but it wont be be anywhere near completion for quite some time. Thanks for the positive energy and the feedback.. cheers
  23. Thanks mate, please don't be shy if you have mix feedback, overly bassy? underly bassy? too wet, too dry? More than happy to have another ear. Thank you for the positive energy laterz
  24. It has some I hope. I am still searching for the proper energy I think, but I am trying to keep enough harmonics in the sound design to represent certain tones of the scales... So it can be difficult to balance high energy with tonal harmony... But I keep trying. So hopefully it is working. Thank you for the comment, Cheers
