This is excellent mate. Could use a bit more changes. The mix could use some work. imo.... I think it could get by with less fx actually, plus some of the sounds popping out could use more compression, some of the other sounds like leads and bass could use less compression... I like this track very much though. Good job.

Hi Mate, You have some really cool ideas, and I like it a lot cause it is all very original and experimental. I like these sorts of things. However, I think in terms of production you have a road to travel. Its very harsh, young mixes. This is ok, cause all this takes loads of practice. Hi, Thanks Force, actually not such a bad comment. I'm definitely still learning... I think its really difficult, make proper track. Cause I am very lost, with where I want to go. I want to try and combine weird technology sounds with melodies, it makes arrangement, sound design, and composition/overall production very difficult. I think it is better to fight for recognition than instant acceptance. I very much appreciate your taking the time. Thank you

well, I've never heard that album. but I happen to know that on huge PA systems reverb on bass gets very muddy and you can't hear it. So, it is possible that on the bass you are talking about is no reverb, but some other effect as well. ( edit ) besides it was just friendly advice... and while there are no rules in music... there seem to be simple things in life we all do. For example, do you eat and breathe? Would you call that a rule? A habit? Something you do? Generally accepted, there is no reverb on bass... Nobody said you can't do it. It is just not done, cause it makes for muddy mixes...

very nice, but if you serious about production... It would be good to stop put reverb on bass.

Hi man, you have some very nice music here. I think a little too much verb in the tracks, and you need some better eq practice, but so far so good. I like very much the style, and the sounds. Just need to practice on making a tighter sounding mix n master. cheers

Hello mate, I try to listen to you music, but I have very fast net, and your myspace takes very long. This maybe why you have no comment. I do the same thing, I put a very high quality mp3, so maybe not too many people like to download... Or maybe my music just sucks.. But, I did try to listen, and it is very difficult to wait for so many things to download when you have 5mbs fiber optic net... People really forget when they sexy up myspace that most people still have a dial up connect. Cheers

I can see you are really tying to push yourself with your music making. I think thats awesome. Its the only way we can grow as artists, when we try to challenge ourselves. Ok, so I think a lot of the melodies are very cool. The sounds and the composition in general is very dark and atmospheric which is nice. I would work a little on arrangement... ( this can be very difficult and takes several years of practice ) and definitely try and improve the mixing ( this can be done in two years flat, if one focuses ) totally have to explore things like, pan, compression, more volume balance, less reverb, etc, etc... Mixing music is damn hard to do unless you have a place to learn it. I mean, composing music is a lot easier to figure out, cause, its having an ear, reading some music theory. Its very much the art of music. Mixing music, is a damn science. ( there is a little art to it as well. ) but at the end of the day. its got defined techniques, that are employed, to achieve a certain result. You want all your sounds to sit in there own space. This goes against the laws of physics really, so when we mix music, " this is the art of it " we mix it so all our sounds sit in there own space. ( here is where you think to yourself, " this dude is not making sense " ) Your right. but its hard to type it all out. I will give more feedback with your next work, but hopefully this is pretty good for now. Cheers

LoL, I gave you positive and constructive feedback, how come you were that offended? Ok, moving on. The kicks in my tracks are not front and center as if they are the only sound that is important. Perhaps listening to some older dance tracks from 96, 97 can shed some light on this philosophy for you. As for the gate being rude... meh, music is supposed to cause emotion and creating the sound of rudeness is quite difficult. Hi mate, Nice effort, I think the low end is a little muddy, the hi htz are not coming through to clearly. All in all I like very much the synth work, and composition. but it lacks a certain energy and technical proficiency in the mix. maybe too much delay and reverb without proper eq and filtering. ie, a crowded mix. but, maybe is ok, for the compilation. I don't know. Its very hard to make a good mix. Takes a lot of practice. Especially when you have so many instruments in a track like with trance. Some of your sounds are, imho, a little too far detune as well. Once again, very good effort. I appreciate, and enjoyed. Cheers

Hi Mate, This is a cool track. The mix is really a lot tighter for you, but with a track like this I would expect a bit more pan, a fuller stereo spectrum. Also, there is a lot of confusion around center, its missing a theme, and a place to be grounded. I think your are quite talented mate. You are definitely trying to do your own production style and vibe. That is like a billion points to you, cause I just think so much electronica nowadays is so the same, and not memorable. There are some things in here that could benefit from less distortion, and more low pass filtering. anyways, this is friendly feedback, not a massive track analyzation. Its a cool piece though. It could use some drum maybe. Great effort. Ttyl Wave
