Some godly long tracks off the top of my mind. I love long the tracks, the great intro...builds..body...climax and outro! :clapping:
Paradise Connection - Source of Emotion (21:32) - This is the mother and father and brother and sister of all long tracks.
Koxbox - Doktor Mesmer (10:45)
Sound Pollution - Where (9:46)
The Pleiadians - Maia (11:10)
Akasha Project - Electric Church (11:07)
-
Hara Gobi means "Green Cauliflowers" in Hindi
-
My fav psybient albums are....
Deviant Electronics - Blunt Instruments
Brilliant, very relaxing breakbeats with a light ambience.
Entheogenic - Entheogenic
Capsula - The Synthesis of Reality
-
What? No one's mentioned Infinity Project? Tracks like Flute Line are just amazing. From the good 'ol days, Posford plus Raja Ram with the flute :posford:
-
One of the few prog tracks I like is -
Ace Ventura & Lish - The Light
Also check out,
Tegma
P.O.T.S.
Phony Orphants
Ace Ventura
Lish
Flowjob
Antix

I find both Kindzadza and Psykovsky's style to be too much of the "noisy" and "chaotic" to be to my liking.Kindzadza - Waves from Inner Space
you tried Schizm already?
Another one in the same vain, pure psychedelic experimental crazy music:
Psy Harmonics 3 - Hacking the Reality Myth
Schizm the comp right? It was great, full of funky, groovy psy that had me bouncing.
I didn't like Hacking the Reality Myth all that much.
I sure will. You made Unconscious Collective - Fluorostani Transcendance right? Its the perfect example of what I'm looking forHey Karan, check out OOOD's last two albums "Free Range" and "Fourthought"... made to be just good psychedelic dance music. No darkpsy cliches here, but a wide variety of moods and tempos, and pretty trippy with it. The albums come from a psytrance angle but venture quite a way off to the side!
-
Yeah, you do for all those suggestions =P But there were such a whole lot of suggestions that its going to take me time to listen to all of them. Of the 5 I've heard...
Tandu - Multimoods
Good but no great, I think its not my style. However I heard it a long time ago, so its up for relisten.
Derango - Tumult
Great album, its a real experience with all the stuff being thrown around. But its definitely dark.
Psykovsky - Debut
I liked the first few tracks but after that it just became the usual darkpsy, so I didn't like it.
Infected Mushroom - The Gathering / Classical Mushroom
Yup, these albums are good stuff, but they aren't psychedelic enough. They aren't crazy, they're somewhat like tranquilized psy.
Sandman - Witchcraft
Yesss!! Now we're talking. This album is great!!
I will definitely hear all of your suggestions, given a lil bit of time

Err...I guess you guys know what glitch is?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glitch_(music)
It just sounded glitchy to me, I didn't mean to kick up a storm I suppose the whole point of genres is to understand the music, instead of saying "I like this and this and this" you can just say I like that genre. Besides, I thought it was interesting to see (what I think is) glitch and psy mixing
Maybe the world is sick of genres, I just got a rather negative reply to an attempt to figure out techno (don't ask) on another site.

I find myself agreeing that Furious is more "maximal psy" than "dark".
I haven't heard Planum, will give it a listen Lish is too proggy for my taste.
-
Two tracks...
Plastikman - Plasticine
Plastikman - Spastik
Get them.
-
I'm not sure if someone has mentioned this before, but after reading how everyone found this album to be different, and listening to it a few times, I thought it sounded a lot like what Psy-Glitch would sound like
-
It was fine, but it didn't grab me. The style is different though, so I'm planning on a repeat listen.Hehe Ormion, Furious is pretty "dark" if you ask me
Karan, maybe you like M.E.E.O??
I thought it was dark, but maybe you're right. Not the typical darkpsy IMO. Not even night music. More maximal psytrance to me.

Maybe sounds that were threatning in our enviroment, like a deep growl, when used in a track in the form of bass appear sad or depressing?
While higher pitched sounds are associated with happiness? Like laughter is generally high-pitched? Or say church bells tolling, they're higher frequency.
Maybe thats just the way we developed systems to seperate threatning and non-threatning sounds.

Nice suggestions, I'm checking them all out.
The Domi Pastor - Immortality is turning out to be really good.
I'd also like to add Children of Paradise - Urban Alien to my original list.
... ...looks to me you're looking for older albums in general......good hunting..
I'm not really looking for older stuff, even though the examples I posted were old. I'm actually look for psy, not goa, which doesn't fit in any category because its just so out there =) For me Deranger and Dragon Tales aren't goa but psy.
-
Binah - Crescend Suns its Simon plus Michele if I remember correctly, can be found on the comp spiritual worlds and shamanic beats
Royksoop - What else is there? its proggy house but nice
My favourite female vocal is actually a sort of primal weird vocal sample from middle of The Nommos - Amma
On Hibernation - Some Things Never Change, #5 has some vocals at the end rather jazzy.
-
I'm looking for albums that are just psychedelic, not full-on or dark or whatever. I've found that they generally tend to be good. Examples of what I'm looking for are -
Hallucinogen - The Lone Deranger
Koxbox - Dragon Tales
Crop Circles - Tetrahedron
Ubar Tmar - Macrometasomakosmos
Domi Pastor - Immortality (tends towards full-on in parts but is still good)
Space Tribe - Thru the Looking Glass - this full-on-ey but its not bassline oriented+same old synths, inside relying on the heavy use of acid, really trippy stuff
-
These might be similar....
MFG - Project Genesis
Pigs in Space - Pigs in Space
-
Funny british black comedy -> Death at a Funeral. Its a laugh fest from beginning to end, highly recommended!
-
+1 goes down wellChromosome: DMT Cowboys (YSE)
-
Counterstrike - Maniac
Counterstrike - Draco
-
I actually felt that these 2 albums had a futuristic feel to them in parts, a sort of cyberpunk-ish, futuristic, minimal but not tech-ish feel.
Har-el Prussky - Pagan Moon Child (1995) - Sleepwalker is my fav track
Children of Paradise (X-Dream sideproject) - Urban Alien (1997) - New Cop is my fav track

Pleidians - I.F.O.
Astral Projection - Trust in Trance
Chi-a.d. - Virtual Spirit
Blue Planet Corporation - Blue Planet
Dimension 5 - Transdimensional
Jaia - Blue Energy
Shakta - Silicon Trip
All goa melodic/trippy albums.

The stuff I heard of your suggestions were great, and I liked your track a lot, it had a great video too!You should definitely check out:
Breaks:
Front Line Assembly - Backlash (industrial with a frenzy of breaks) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WMTaXVAe0Do
Front Line Assembly - Buried Alive (hard and fast DnB/Industrial) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SzR53DbL2rs
Noise Unit - Liberation (nice drums on this track, unfortunately not on YT)
Noise Unit - The Drain (not on YT, but one of the tracks that got me into the genre)
Moby - James Bond Theme (a bit smoother but nevertheless very energetic) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P79cVnDmzB0
Expansion Union - Playing with Lightning (one of the best heavy breaks tracks ever!!!)
Prodigy - Firestarter (for obvious reasons) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=28ow4TLMTqM
DnB:
Current Value - Dark Rain (this is pure DnB, but what a great dark anthem, and how sick drumsounds!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uiTazePDkqk
Unknown Error - Exit (so much detail in this track!)
Noisia - Block Control (one of the tracks that got me into DnB, if youre looking for high energy, look no further)
Black Sun Empire - Arrakis (has been mentioned already, but this is THE alltime classic) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CUuvIi3UFK4
and to conclude this, a track by me... a mix of metal, industrial and DnB at extreme speed: "Human Error"
I really liked FLA's Backlash!
Now that I've heard more DnB I agree with you:)Nah. D'n'B can have loads of complicated beats. The main characteristic of the genre is, imo, the "intellectualisation" of jungle. Less furious screaming jamaicans, less blatantly party-influenced atmospheres. More chilled out and contemplative, but still very fast.
I think I like the Neurofunk sub genre, Dieselboy's Human Resource is Neurofunk right? Anyone have any Neurofunk suggestions?
-
That was a great recommendation, thanks Though I'm in two minds on whether the tracks beat Brain Structure. Its all so good!ah yes, it is top quality music for sure... but from KURO There is 1 vinyl I love even more:

Psychedelic Techno?
in General Psytrance
Posted
For me, Yamabikaya - The Arrival is psytech. Also, Spirillianz and Midi Miliz perhaps.
