Though this remix doesn't make the original justice this is highly interesting anyways, since their other tracks are just great! So go to their myspace and listen. Got this release aswell and haven't even given it a serious listen, dunno why, guess it sucks.

Not really, it's glitch ambient, might be some resemblance but it's more minimal I would say. Haven't listened much to Escape kit so it's hard for me to compare aswell. All I know is that I prefer them over Escape kit, you just have to hear out, gently down the stream, second track! It's fucking awesome. edit: went on to somnias website, yes there is much resemblance, you'll definitely like them if you like escape kit.

While lsitening to this it seems to be authentic yes. And also yes it wounds very nice. BUt it's very hard to tell since the bad sound quality, impossible to hear out the details. Another note, what's with the talking on the second track? I hope that won't be figuring on the forthcoming album. Anyways, other news for you that don't know, if you haven't got a ticket for Shpongles sold out consert on October 31th, then you will still be able to see it streamed LIVE from their website. Actually I was talking about the album. Ah ok, yeah, I mean Ra 9th is noticably better in sound quality IMO. And ofc, sound quality is not everyhitng, music wighs in much heavier, but it's still nice to have crisp and clear sound with great dynamics.

Distant System - Spiral Empire

This totally makes sense, if Suntrip is doing this under mastering. When listening to Khetzal I have noticed "poor sound quality" but in fact, it might just be the lack of dynamics. It's very easy to hear on my system.
