Yes this is a great collection of tracks, i really hope he gets a real CD in the future! He deserves it for sure, i really like how he has implemented a turkish oriental feel to the tracks.

No hard feelings but if there would somehow be possible to have the album tracks in their unmastered condition i for sure would be very happy, it was one of those rare albums i was really waiting for and i know metapsychic couldnt afford proper mastering but for example colorbox did very good i think with the pyramidal release, and as we all know infinite dimension really made the human hyperactivaion to something not so enjoyable for the ears, wich is sad because it contained so many good tracks. About the mindsphere album i know that all the tracks where in very different condition qualitywise since they where from different years and also because he works in reason wich isnt by it self a good thing if you want good sound quality (in rewire with cubase its another story) but anyway i liked how his inner cyclone track sounded unmastered and it would really be nice to hear the rest of the tracks as they where when Ali rendered them in reason. I have no clue what other albums/artists you have mastered but i hope you dont add the mindsphere album to your mastering CV so to say because i dont know anyone who liked how it was mastered. Next time think twice before accepting such a task because everything we do leave repercussions and everytime i try to listen to the inner cyclone album i will remember the dissapointment i felt when first listening to it and hearing this pumping compression almost like in a eric prydz track I might appear as negative but im just honest with you and hopefully you can take criticism and improve your mastering skills (maybe you have allready? ) Cheers

Exactly that was the thing with the another world album it had massive promotion and goa trance was very popular for a while indeed, with commercials on television etc.

Honestly i would have believed all this if you would have mastered Mindspheres album better, but since i heard the unmastered version of the track: Inner Cyclone and your mastered version, i simply cant take you serious when i read all this.

But why all the hype about this album? Isnt there other stuff around that is more interesting? But hey i guess Dj Draeke is a hardcore etnica/pleiadians/crop circles fan indeed and his collection will not be complete without this album in an original pressed CD format. :drama:

The obvious answer is: of course it wouldnt, not because goa is not as big as it used to be, but because of the fact that CD stores are closing their doors and not as many people buy CD anymore.

The only people who will buy this kind of odd release i think is the real hardcore goa trance collectors. And those arent to many : ) Besides i think the material in it self is not so strong compared to something freshly made or other stuff these guys have made. But hey who knows with some modern mastering on it i have no clue, perhaps it could bring out some details in the sound. Still i dont think this would be some big selling CD, as it probably wouldnt have been in the 90´s either and would probably have ended up to be one of those super rare albums. edit: To compare this DAT to the transdimensional CD is somewhat unfair i think, since the transdimensional CD is such a strong album with great tracks and depth.

If agneton could possibly edit his post so it says: oriental/light/bright goa trance or something instead of dark/melodic etc since i have changed back to my old style of goa trance. Thanks for a long and detailed review! This album is super classic goa :posford: Other Self and Transcendent sends shivers down my spine! This is what goa used to sound like, all these complicated spirals of tones that flows like notes from the heavens or something :drama:
