  1. Actually i thought goa gate was pretty good maybe a bit formulaic, but it had a good egyptian theme wich i enjoyed since im very much into ancient egypt. Okey ill give the obsidian track a few more spins, maybe it will get better with time however i hope Filipe understands my feedback and takes it in as something positive and really something that is meant just so he can improve in the areas wich i felt could be better. I would really enjoy some more sinister/intelligent P! tracks, like the self titled track on the !MuinomednaP album and the allready mentioned Mad scientists night track, the dim7 chords in those tracks where good and added a mystic/enigmatic touch. You got the tools and know how to do it, so what are you waiting for?
  2. I like that you have included a "play link" to the samples of each track! That should be a standard in all reviews when possible. My fav track on this compilation is Chi-ADs.
  3. Okey now i had a listen to the two tracks i was curious about, the obsidian track and 4 snobs in a row and hmm they didnt really do the trick for me, the obsidian track was oh so predictable it sounds exactly as any of the tracks on goa gate, same formula.. same type of sounds. I personally want to be surprised when i listen to goa, hear something new and think like: "how the hell they make that?" The Pandemonium! track was a little bit annoying with the VST accordion sound, it sounded like a GM/SF2 instrument to be honest. The most fair thing i think i could do is to compare these new amithaba tracks to your own older tracks wich i think had more feelings and variation from track to track. Southern Oracle, Tabernacle & Mysteries Of The Women are tracks wich i think had way more depth and feelings in them, or even A Mad Scientists Night wich was so visual and generated images in my mind while listening to it, thats what psychedelic music is all about. Also i think it sounds a bit to flat/thin. The tracks i listened to (Obsidian Stones & 4 snobs in a row) would definately benefit from a better 3D feel to it. It doesnt have that production standard that i would expect in 2009 from a CD wich is sold and distributed from mayor online stores like this one is. Even the voice samples sound lo-fi IMO. Good example of modern goa with good sound quality would be the latest RA album. This is in now way any kind of bashing, im just beeing honest and writing what i feel when listening to the two tracks. Oh well somebody else will probably enjoy it more then me.
  4. Fair enough I forgot to mention wich track i liked the most on this VA, the Astrancer track
  5. Quite funny i was browsing the infected forum now in search for some lulz, and found a post where Erez actually responds in a topic: http://www.infected-mushroom.com/forums//read.php?1,311351
  6. Good work my dear dedectives lol at the videos. Duvdev looks like a spasmic cat trying to catch some invisble fly, and his singing is pukeable.
  7. Care to elaborate what it is you find so great about it? Just out of curiousity.
  8. Now that they live in USA i hope Duvdev takes some english lessons, because this Borat Vocal Techno is to lulz The Pink Panther could have been featured on a Smurf Hits Compilation, or like one of those silly ring tones with crazy frog.
  9. Congrats on the new project Filipe and to the featured track on the future pinball board, by a coincidence i play future pinball a lot especially the bubble bouble board im downloading the one with your track featured now so i can test it and hear the track. I also did some chip tunes some years ago, but it was more "traditional trance" mixed with sid sounds. Your twist with the oriental goa elements and the video game stuff is something new. I have always thougt that the egypt level on super mario land on game boy could be fun in a trance remix, maybe try it? Although this style isnt psychedelic per se, it is funny and well made and makes sense for sound track to games indeed. And the goa elements makes it interesting for a goa head like my self hehe. Cheers
  10. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N7p4mioawIA I checked your earlier feedback long time ago: http://www.psynews.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=50719 Care to explain why you got the mods to delete your real name from the thread? And then your self post my real name here The fact that you changed your user name here on the forum from "strydr" to frozen dream and wanted your real name to be removed got me suspicious. Once again i have no clue who you are, all I know is that power rangers are.
  11. There is big difference between a well known online shop and a random anonymous joker like yours truly. And yes I am a big ego, and how you feel is not in my sphere of interest. PLUR :drama:
  12. lol i dont send money to strangers on the internet, i dont know you and dont even know your IRL name. I havent received anything so why should i pay you anything? And yeah think twice everyone on the big internet I am serious trouble "Love & Light" btw try to make some spaces between what you just wrote, i get headache by trying to read it.
  13. Yeah, their cheesy supply is infinite. I guess in Los Angeles they get it straight from the source, maybe burger king or something.
  14. Try if it works by removing the code string after the actual url (after .mp3), maybe it works i dont know
  15. Yeah just like: Infected Mushroom-The Doors Remixed, Infected Mushroom has openly said in interviews on youtube etc, that filesharing is one of the things that have made them so famous around the world in countries like for example Mexico. And i suspect they have spread this promo them selves just like with the "The Doors Remixed" Because of course they know that if they send around promos of an upcoming album it WILL be leaked.
  16. Try PM now, and yeah i guess Corn Bread goes along with Cheese and Champignion
