I love it. This is old school psychedelic trance and it?s done perfectly. A beautiful collision of noise - nothing particularly innovative but just stomping music. Listen to this then go out and DANCE. Traditional British psychedelic trance sound a la Green Nuns, Doof - this contains some truly classic tracks. Cosmosis rule. Music to smile to as you dance. Is very good but tracks like "Morphic Resonance" just does´nt make it to the grade of OK. The better ones though are very good. For example "Key To The Innerverse" is the absolutely best one here in my opinion.. followed up by "Alien Disco" and "Gift of The Gods". hmm.. Even the latest track, which is ambient is good, and ends well the album. I don't have any other album from Cosmosis, but I can recommend one track from them called : Howling At the Moon which is in my opinion the best track Cosmosis ever made...! Very different sound than what they turned into (Synergy, Intergalactic), I think there was a personnel change? Gift of the Gods is a Track for the Ages, the kind of thing I can see future generations sitting around the campfire with their palmtop studios and remixing as their elders used to sing rounds of the tracks of their respective forefathers. Guest xal[at]go2[dot]pl Posted August 22, 2000 Share Posted August 22, 2000 back 3.5 years ago i was really just into 2 goa albums :Etnica's Alien protein and Cosmosis Cosmology, i loved them even though i've listend to hause music back then. 2.5 years ago i've started to listen to goa music for good, today after those years i've listened to many many more goa (of course goa rules) albums and i just think that of those two, Alien protein sounds a little bit overdated now,of course i LOVE the Trip tonite track but thats it for that album. Cosmology on the other hand, after all those years just sounds million times better for me, its strange but each time i play this cd i love it much more and more, of course there are many other good albums but dont know why but the best one for me is just Cosmosis Cosmology (dont like their other releses so much) even though its an old dated album, my favourite tracks back then and now 1,4,7,9 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Except maybe for the first track, because I had it on a mixtape for many years, I've listened to it too many times now. The whole album is beautiful. I like Gift of the Gods for that tingling noise in the beginning and for the way it changes it's mood a bit in the end.And I like Syanacid for it's strange atmosphere. That aside, this is still quality classic goa trance. I've heard Key to the Innerverse so many times, that I skip it now. The rest is good to down right excellent. Get this. This first COSMOSIS album is maybe their best cause it is brilliant from beginning to the end and it is so fast, energetic and euphorical that is among most fun albums to listen to. Every song is masterfully crafted and constructed and it has heaps of cosmic melodies. The title of it fits it the best.
