  2. Artist: Xenofish Title: Decoder Label: Self-Released Date: October, 2013 01 - Rise Against Myself (90 BPM) 02 - Broken Interface (120 BPM) 03 - Spectral Edges (180 BPM) 04 - Forward (180 BPM) 05 - Sanctus (176 BPM) 06 - Rea (176 BPM) 07 - Arashi (176 BPM) This is the sophomore effort of Christian Becker and I like to think it's the companion album to his debut the same year Encoder. Rise Against Myself brings rich electronic hums and a hard beat. What a great downtempo intro that is clearly not taking it easy. Broken Interface is the sound of artificial intellige

It sounds very clear and I will tell you it is fairly inten

  5. I've thought about doing a sequel to my relatively popular Encrypted Universe but hadn't gotten around to digging for it. There are basically 3 people who rule this sound: Xenofish, Mellow Sonic, and Cybernetika, and none of them are signed to any labels or have any new releases in the past 3-4 years anyway. So unless they all make a comeback I wouldn't anticipate many more of these mixes. The neuro stuff seemed to fit nicely in a 20ish minute block towards the end. I tried to get the most listenable neurofunk available considering a vast majority of it is actually hurts to listen to. Had a lo

  10. http://erot.bandcamp.com/album/erot-one-arc-degree-mani-of-despair-ep 01. Erot - Mani (One Arc Degree Remix) 06:09 02. One Arc Degree - For the Love of Despair (Erot Remix) 06:42 Mani of Despair EP was conceived as a prelude (actually a teaser) to Synergism EP, soon to be released on Iboga Records. Erot re-imagines the mournful & emotive "For The Love Of Despair" in his distinct style, originally released by One Arc Degree on Under A Trillion Suns [Microcosmos Records]. One Arc Degree return the favour and present their atmo dnb interpretation of the deep & r

Artist: Xenofish Title: Datastasis Label: Self-Released Date: July, 2014 01 - Datastasis (178 BPM) 02 - Geiranum (176 BPM) 03 - Primeval Pattern (160 BPM) 04 - Zero Velocity (170 BPM) 05 - Disordered Minds (180 BPM) 06 - Twinmachine (182 BPM) 07 - Shattered Phantasm (176 BPM) This is Christian Becker's fourth album and it is a science fiction journey escorted by drum & bass music. The pace is quite hectic as the bpm's will tell you. As mentioned the atmosphere is definitely cosmic with Fifth Element characteristics. I would say that the intros and his breaks are the parts t
  12. The last time I attempted to make a mix of psychedelic drum & bass, it was a little all over the place. While there were a few great tracks, the mix had next to no flow, and the variety was far too much to be considered a legitimate representation of such a rare style. The theme of science fiction allowed me to mix neurofunk into this set, and the spacey sounds fit perfectly with what I was trying to do. Lots of energy and interesting music here. Enjoy!
