But I like argumenting about things like this. It's a good way to went that anger. Don't you have any artist you really hate?
(BTW: I think I indeed am a "kid" compared to most people here)
-
Goa usually has melodies, psy usually hasn't.
-
This was a question, idiot. A topic about who YOU think is the worst psy/goa artist ever. Not a statement, merely ideas.
Get it? Is there something wrong with sharing thoughts? If you think so, what are you doing here anyway?
-
I'd say Holymen, if he still labels himself as Psy. He has made one good track for 8 or so CDs, and now everyone of his fans thinks psy and goa are supposed to be full of cheesy melodies and happy beats.
Also the late Infected Mushroom make good kandidates for this position. And Skazi.

It may sound that way, but I'm living proof you don't have to. Shpongle is right anywhere, anytime.
The whole skip/distort/hack thing is what the music is meant to be like. Not following any kind of pre-formed map, but completely unique!

While I might not agree with that, I sure agree with your avatar picture.

I think it could... after all, it IS the last Shpongle album. And they should end it with a huge crescendo of what it began with... just whoah. I'll preorder it immediately when it is possible. I haven't even heard Beija Floor yet, and if that track is half as good as people say.

OMG; I just got Shpongled by Shpongle.

It's albums we're speaking, not single tracks.
The best thing Transwave ever did, IMHO, was Hypnorhythm EP. I don't really love their style, but this album still has something that makes me listen to it again. Not nearly as good as Astral, but as I said, good enough.
And their worst is Helium.

As a matter of fact, I don't believe my opinion in this topic will be valid a lot longer... that damn album is, after the umpteenth time I listen to it, growing on me. I still don't think it's THAT good, but... not bad.

Hallucinogen - Trancespotter...
When the hacked-up voice starts for the second time... then the hihats come in... pure bliss... and then BAM! The twisted melody is just too great. I always start twitching when I hear it, even if I'm on a bus, listening to it on headphones.

I agree with you that it is like its made from mini tracks. but I still like the track very much. Though it is not one of my most loved tracks. Probably because of the serious absense of Raja and that beautiful flute of his..

So if we are getting samples soon that is god damn fantastic.
The biggest things I am waiting for is this album and a new DubTrees. And if they ever make another Yeti album that will be fantastical
I haven't even heard the first Dub Trees CD. Is it any good?

I can't see what is so wrong with that. If no-one critizised stuff, nothing would change for better or worse.
To know IF others like the artists and if so, why they do.
No.
a) Every good artist has to be able to accept negative feedback, as long as it is constructive.
b.) The Infinity Project's "success" really wasn't that big. (or was it? I'm not that well informed)
c) I doubt any of them are here to read this.

I CAN'T match Mystical. Oh well. But it's still a bit overrated if you ask me. (although it has grown on me a little)
-
Cinos: i havent heard any of your music or dont know nothing about how talented you are but i doubt you could make such music.. maybe little same sounding but the emotions and the wierdness.. or let me know when its done .. just please dont say 'i could make such music but im not on the mood'
I could certainly match the weirdness. Possibly not the professional production, as my equipment is shit. I will try to, that's for sure.
However, I've only made ordinary trance and some attempts at psytrance up to now. So give me time.
I could, however, give you a short sample of some of my psytrance or chilled uptempo trance later. Then again I'm afraid of being slaughetered completely after suggesting I could match Mystical.

Filled, although I left some fields blank (like in 5 beliefs I listed less than 5)

But what's so specific about that singing that only tibetan monks can do it? It can't be so hard to do... I'd try, but everybody would think I'm crazy. In programming class right now.
