  1. Could somebody enlighten me on the rareness of these CDs;? Infinite Excursions 1 Hallucinogen - Space Pussy Juno Reactor - Beyond The Infinite
  2. Luciana is boring. It has it's good moments, but it repeats too much. It'd go well as a ten-minute track, maybe 20, but no longer. Unlike the artists on Mystery of the yeti 1&2, Juno can't make good ambient this long. I heard it was supposed to be a soundtrack for a art installation somewhere. That'd explain the repetiviness.
  3. But I can't see how CD lifetime is limited at all, if you treat them right.
  4. Eh? Do you shave your CDs against sandpaper while not listening?! Or just throw them against walls? I have 10 year and older CDs and they all play perfectly without a scratch. But, my experience is that vinyls are deformed a small, small bit everytime the needle touches them, and sooner or later they WILL be all raspy. Is this incorrect?
  5. Myself, I only collect small, handy CDs. Vinyl life-time is too limited. How many times can you play one before it's way too raspy?
  6. I said CDs, not vinyls. Thanks for the information though.
  7. The ones I know of, and that are listed on Discogs, are; LSD Promo Single Space Pussy (which I just bought! ) Deranger EP Mi-Loony-Um Are there any more of them? And which, in your opinion is the best?
  8. They have had some impact on the psy scene. But most of what they do has been made before. I'm not saying their first three albums weren't good. They just weren't the first psy around. And the "quality" of their last album wouldn't justified even if it was one of the pioneers Simon Posford or Ben Watkins who made it.
  9. Personally I'm in the "complexity damnit" clan.
  10. ` Not THAT young. I'm, however, not going to tell my exact age, as I then risk people not taking me seriously. I've seen it happen before.
  11. But I like argumenting about things like this. It's a good way to went that anger. Don't you have any artist you really hate? (BTW: I think I indeed am a "kid" compared to most people here)
  12. Goa usually has melodies, psy usually hasn't.
  13. This was a question, idiot. A topic about who YOU think is the worst psy/goa artist ever. Not a statement, merely ideas. Get it? Is there something wrong with sharing thoughts? If you think so, what are you doing here anyway?
  14. I'd say Holymen, if he still labels himself as Psy. He has made one good track for 8 or so CDs, and now everyone of his fans thinks psy and goa are supposed to be full of cheesy melodies and happy beats. Also the late Infected Mushroom make good kandidates for this position. And Skazi.
  15. It may sound that way, but I'm living proof you don't have to. Shpongle is right anywhere, anytime. The whole skip/distort/hack thing is what the music is meant to be like. Not following any kind of pre-formed map, but completely unique!
  16. The fact that finnish people are forced to learn swedish in school. His avatar says "enough of that forced swedish already!".
  17. Yeah. I, however, LIVE in that goddamn country, but still I feel pity for the poor bastards who are forced to learn the language.
  18. While I might not agree with that, I sure agree with your avatar picture.
  19. I think it could... after all, it IS the last Shpongle album. And they should end it with a huge crescendo of what it began with... just whoah. I'll preorder it immediately when it is possible. I haven't even heard Beija Floor yet, and if that track is half as good as people say.
  20. That's the complete mirroring of my opinion. How strange tastes you have.
  21. 'Aum is my single favorite Transwave track.
  22. It's albums we're speaking, not single tracks. The best thing Transwave ever did, IMHO, was Hypnorhythm EP. I don't really love their style, but this album still has something that makes me listen to it again. Not nearly as good as Astral, but as I said, good enough. And their worst is Helium.
  23. I don't understand what you mean.
  24. As a matter of fact, I don't believe my opinion in this topic will be valid a lot longer... that damn album is, after the umpteenth time I listen to it, growing on me. I still don't think it's THAT good, but... not bad.
