  1. OK. I take it you want exactly FLAMENCO guitars, right? I'll have to find a good synth first, but I'll upload it in some time. If an ordinary guitar or electric guitar is enough, I can do it right now. Also look at what Nemo said: It's easy to make the guitar, but hard to make it sound flowing. However, looking at what else Posford can do, I'd bet he is able to do that too.
  2. I've heard somebody else ordered TFG from Loudmusic, and then got the wrong CD after several months of waiting.
  3. Infected Mushroom - Horus the Chorus. And the whole album lost whatever little niceness it had when I listened to it the third time.
  4. Sweden is leading with 12 votes, second comes finland with 10, after that NA and Belgium with 9 each... Anyway, Canada = NA.
  5. Crazy prices are crazy. But nontheless, I would pay them to get good music. (like H's Space Pussy single... I'd shell out way too much for it if I hadn't found it for 2 bucks!)
  6. Now now. Everybody uses speech samples don't they? That's not wrong, right? Even though they are from movies and the like? Why would musical samples be wrong? Nontheless, Simon does not have to copy bits of tracks to make incredible music, so he most likely has a good reason for this. And hell, it's not like Tea Daze is the best Shpongle track anyway. BTW: Why do people complain only if Shpongle uses samples, but not if somebody else does?
  7. I mean simon could well create flamenco guitars on his computer... hell, I can, and simon is light years ahead.
  8. The thing is, I think Simon uses those samples to pay homage to his influences. He could well hire artists to make new samples with him or even make them himself, but he doesn't.
  9. Finland. I think there are more finns than swedes here... or are there?
  10. I'm actually going to buy this in my next order, BTW. Just because it has Shpongle in it.
  11. I have no idea what that track is, but I'm guessing classical music? There's nothing wrong with ripping classical off, just as there is nothing wrong with using samples if you do it well.
  12. Take 10 000 miles for example... that melody hits me like a hammer in the face (the good way) every time I hear it...
  13. They have hardly had any influence on the better psy artists.
  14. Astral Projection are just as complex as Pleiadians, just in an ordered manner. Listen to Nilaya and Liquid Sun - both generate a deep liquid, multibottomed picture, which actually is just as complicated as, say, Asterope or Maia. The difference is only in the "type" of sound. While Pleids use acid, screamy sounds that take time to get used to, Astral do it fluffily with harmonic synths. Take Shpongle for example - people usually like their music at first listen, yet you always discover more and more details. They aren't necessarily better. My favorite movie is the Matrix, and it doesn't ride on the complextity, but instead on the atmosphere. No independent films come close to it. So that's what I've spent annoyingly long to try to say: it's not the complexity level that defines what music people like, it's the atmosphere. People who listen to both Astral and Pleidadians, tend to sink deep into both kinds of music, sometimes wanting harmony, and sometimes chaos, instead of growing out of Astral after discovering something new. --- First time I ever wrote that long a post. Does it make any sense?
  15. The question is: Is music that only grows on you slowly good, or is it brainwashing executed by bad music?
  16. I'm just wondering how this album can be so good. High Energy Protons, Luna-Tic, Contact for example. It's perfect, melodic, old-school trance. Some people have been criticizing this for sounding "old", but it doesn't. I'm almost bent on saying that THIS album is the best Juno ever made, instead of Beyond The Infinite. Any thoughts, you others?
  17. I started to look for it some months ago. Then I got it. So it's not that hard to find. However, if you give me a link to your collection, I MIGHT, repeat, MIGHT trade for it.
  18. Astral. MFG are nice, but not really my first choice from those artists.
  19. And now I'm starting to take this personally - he calls 1200 mics cheesy.
  20. So from what I can extract from that message, I'm a good bad person? Or a bad bad one? Anyways, there might not be any "good" and "bad" music in general, but I sure dislike metal, country, rock... (i actually made a list of these sometimes, but I can't find it). Also, I think we could agree there is simple music and advanced music. Most kinds of simple music lose their appeal quickly, while advanced doesn't, and thus is good. Pop is simple, as is most rap. Hmm? NB: I judged IFO too quickly, it's slowly growing on me...
  21. I hadn't seen the first before. Are they reliable? Where are they located? Trance-shop seems a bit not-serious... (like the "u" instead of "you" in the help)
  22. www.saikosounds.com EDIT: ...doh!
  23. Yeah, taste can't be argumented... but I certainly wouldnt recommend this to anybody. It's like XD just made it in one week.
