  1. Zybex! I think that was what i'm looking for. You my friend are invaluable. =D Thank you. ...But there was also one i've heard that had the voice robotized, it was a full on track, sounded like Penta.
  2. THIS! http://www.cyclotronmajesty.net/Cyclotron_Majestys_site/Podcast/Entries/2010/5/19_Fight_or_Flight.html !!!!
  3. There are a few tracks i've heard with this sample from "The Omega Code" movie. I would be happy if anyone could ID any of them. They are probably a few years old... Thx
  4. I just found (for myself) Cybernetika - Colossus and Atropos Albums on Ektoplasm : http://www.ektoplazm.com/style/psydnb I haven't heard shit this good since Digitalis. But even Digitalis wasn't this full on like this, much more laid back. I think this stuff is defiantly an underdeveloped genre. I used to listen to DnB mixes. But most of the DnB I found was annoying MC crap like Aphrodite or Andy C. Just boring flat poppy jingles. DnB appears to offer a massive window of creativity in terms of beats... but for some reason it was watered down to candy raver teenage girl quality and just got stuck there, and died. I'm looking for more of this Psychedelic DnB. More like Cybernetika. ... being fully aware of the fact that there may be nothing like Cybernetika... And don't talk about Violet Vision, I dunno what happened to those ... people. But their first album was so promising. Only to come out sounding like some Wanabe Infected Mushroom breakbeat. Maybe their mom ate them.
  5. This forum needs another thread I think... Here look at this. http://www.unifyearth.com/ I think Daniel Pinchbeck either started this or is a major person working on it. Looks pretty good. He's got the right idea. Basically participate and be active in the creation of a new world. Heard about it from the webinar Dennis Mckenna is giving recently at evolverintensives.com. http://evolverintensives.com/ I'm frequently disappointed at the level of nihilism and ignorance in the psytrance music community. I mean I think we need to take a more active role in things. Not be so lazy. I don't know what people are afraid of...The psy trance music community should be a major part of the psychedelic community across the world. But I notice many are almost no better than a drunken fat bum watching football. They are the same thing just wearing tie dye shirts. I say simple things to people like: "Mushrooms are a orally active DMT drug", and people don't even know these simple things, even though they scarf them down regularly. The psytrance "community" doesn't seem well educated enough, It's seems almost like it's hanging on by a thread sometimes, and a little bit weak when it comes to organizing outside the matrix. I'd just like to see some more intelligence, less weakness and attitude, more character and guts. U know... I mean pick your busted ass off the floor and do something that actually means something. I dunno maybe i'm just out of it and my perception is wrong...
  6. Self actualization. And fighting the matrix. I think we come here only with the basic structures of self, but if those are not actualized and expanded beyond, you die without having ever lived.
  7. Wow that is some insane shit. the first one is LOLFL WAFFLE.
  8. I am looking for Psytrance that may have a warrior theme. Artists for example who use samples like in Paraforce's: Vodka Fx. I can't think of many more that have this sort of energy. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
  9. Considering how sexuality changing nowadays (especially women, who are 3 times more likely to identify themselves as bi than men : http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/41879879/) perhaps your right. Although heteros are still more common than homosexuals. But lesbianism does appear to be on the rise, according to that article.
  10. Haha, on closer look it appsars the same girl superimoosed over herself... If not that is one funky tantra posture. Legs are tripping me out... Only a high profile lesbo can probably Understand the significance of it... Thus im mired in jealousy... The album isn't bad. The cover art for the first album i liked more BTW. In fact i utterly loved it. The album title and the cover, just did it for me. This is like the other almost minimal prog psy. But its melodic... Not full on. I'd say its a bit more developed than his previous album. It could use some umph or something... I dunno its kind of sedated. Id dare to say the guy still has yet to find his sound.
  11. Yea i got e-mantas new album comming in the mail. Actually i would say this is "goambient" Penzoline. Shulman, distant system, infinity project, shongle. Yes. These are not to be missed.
  12. I'm looking or more stuff like: Carbon Based Lifeforms, Asura, Aes Dana, Cell, H.U.V.A Network I think these are some of the best Psybient artists around. Solar Fields used to be good... I dunno what happened on his latest album... What happened to Healer? The Project that released "Higher Grounds"? That album is God. Also found that Between Interval's album is godlike. I was wondering if there was anything obvious I was overlooking. Looking for more psybient like Carbon Based Lifeforms rather than total immersion ambient like Ishq. I know Galaxy has a new album out. I just ordered a copy of Asura - Perimeters. Is that album even out yet or did I preorder? Anyway psybient is like the other half of the Psy/goa soul imho.
  13. I was loading mindwave's new album into my iPod when i suddenly saw something of the cover i did not notice before. At the top left corner are two nude females in the sky... doing what looks like some lesbian sissoring... And the title of the new album is "awaken"... What, are we supposed to awaken our inner lesbian or something? I guess I was sort of caught off guard by that... I dunno what do ya'll think?
  14. I've found track 4 one of the best on the album... I think the idea of distributing the music without printing it on a CD can be a good idea. Saves money for one thing, and is environmentally sustainable. I don't remember Skylon at all. I just remember Blumencraft. I don't recall it being any slower in tempo than Mir. As I recall it was allot of reggae like rhythms.
  15. Hey DJ Zen i'm going to take u up on that generous offer and get E-Mantra's new Album and Aes Dana's New album.
  16. That article is hardly inspiring... Seems really jaded.
  17. Electric Universe is releasing a new album.... !!!!! I dunno this guy maybe is my favorite artist. Probably. His production is some of the best i've ever heard. Original sound. Loved his new sound since Cosmic Experience. All his music is some of my favorite: Galaxy, Jupiter 8000. His older stuff like Stardiver, One Love, Divine Design, Blue Planet etc... pretty much everything he's done. Now he is hopefully releasing a full version of "The Web" which is just a remarkable track only previously previewed on VA - Dimension 2 compilation. Anyhow I listened to the samples on psyshop. I can't wait to get a copy.
  18. Listening to it now. This guy is just gifted... Outstanding. Like track 1 the best so far... Album artwork is also fantastic.
  19. E-Mantra : Ragnarok on Spiritual Rising Was just listening to Chris Rich : Schnapping Schnarlers on Poodle Scum (underrated compilation)
  20. I Dunno much about headphones... I usually don't spend too much on them because last time I did - I bought a pair of these dam fine headphones: http://www.gradolabs.com/frameset_main.htm and they broke... since then i just but the cheapest ones I can find that fit the mixer plug... But those are really good, and not even the best ones they sell. On the other hand. Speakers are a big deal. I've simply got the best speakers (by virtue of luck) i've truly ever heard. They are Klipsch old fashion home speakers. Klipsch. Hersey 2. Is what I've got. And Honestly I've never heard better speakers anywhere. The mids and highs are so crisp and clear and the bass, while plenty powerful, is not overblown. Psytrance with all the intricate layers is simply perfect. I'm sure there are probably better speakers out there... But for what i've got (2 100 watt speakers) These are the best i've ever seen. They are dam loud, and dam crisp. I have no idea about the modern Klipsch speakers that are made today. I suspect they are not as good. But these are truly the best i've come across. They blow any other pair of PA DJ speakers for their size away. They are not actually designed for DJ work. They use the generic +/- naked wire inputs (No XLR)... They are today defined as home theatre speakers... were manufactured in the 70s I think. What i've done is just put two adapters on the bottom so they can fit on a pair of regular speaker stands. They work great.
  21. Dam i just train wrecked reading this thread. I'd be down for new Logic Bomb. But I don't recall the last one being as good as I would have liked... Oh thats why I have VBR mp3s... yek... I just remember listening to a live mix that they did that was off the chart.... Utterly intelligent with the melodies.
  22. Zero Barrier Defiantly. There are so many. But this track just is IT for me.
  23. This album looks really wondrous. I am looking forward to it's release. http://www.altar-records.com/emantra.html Look at those videos! Does anyone know if they are going to be included on the CD?
