  1. Trance + Metal Celldweller - Frozen (Celldweller vs Blue Stahli) ft. Blue Stahli (2011)
  2. Hi everyone. I really like that borderline sound between Goa and Full-On — tracks that are still Goa in essence, but already carry the spirit of Full-On. Below I’ll share some examples. I’d love to hear your suggestions too. Let’s go! Children Of The Doc — Martian Civilization (Domestic Goblin Rmx) (1998) Talamasca — Halloween (1999) Xerox & Freeman — Are We Happy? (1997) Analog Pussy — Fight To Trance (1999) Wizzy Noise - Pleione 1999(?) Unreleased until 2016 Oops, looks like the forum has a limit of five embedded tracks. In that case, I’ll just post a link to the playlist since I can’t fit in any more.
  3. I’ve made a tracklist from all Boris tracks available online — a total of 51 tracks. I really like him; he’s such a wonderful melodist. I’m not sure if he creates all the melodies himself or weaves in elements of traditional Balkan music, but either way, it sounds incredible.
  4. The Estonian-Russian project RADIOTRANCE is, of course, well-known to Goa trance fans — primarily thanks to their hits “Vostok 5” and “Plasma,” released on the Transient label. However, they also produced other tracks that can only loosely be classified as Goa trance — or rather, tracks that include elements of it. Unfortunately, outside the post-Soviet space, where these tunes once set dance floors on fire, they remain largely unknown. Thanks to YouTube, though, this gap can finally be filled. RADIOTRANCE - Горячий как солнце и мокрый как дождь / Hot as the Sun and Wet as the Rain (1996) Radiotrance - Через Тернии К Звездам / Through the Thorns to the Stars (1996) Well then, let’s listen to the full versions of their main hits mentioned above. …and a one-hour mix of all their hits. Enjoy!
  5. Out Of Orbit | Real Name: Eitan Reiter Profile: Progressive psychedelic trance project from Kiryat Hayim, Hefa, based in Herzliya, Israel Really like his track from the 2024 album — pure old-school vibe but with modern sound. It truly has the spirit of the early ’90s. Sharing two versions of the track — both are great. Talented guy.
  6. 17 minutes long. It gives off strong Spiritual Healing vibes from a mile away — a true variation on the theme.
  7. Remix from 2025. Too close to the original — almost indistinguishable by ear, just a few subtle nuances.
  8. The father of all trance tracks with rap on top. How do you like that? 😄 DFX - Relax Your Body (1989). I’ll include it in my next selection of melodic Goa trance (part 5). And here’s some more classic stuff for you — one of my all-time favorite tracks. Nostrum - Brainchild (1994)
  9. This track is 9:40 long, but the beautiful melody doesn’t start until 6:02. You’ll have to be patient. Digital Sun is a Goa project by the guys from Tarsis. I like Tarsis too, even though it’s psy-prog.
  10. Duvdev & Shidapu – Zahadum (1995) Unreleased | The longest IM song - 14:20 The track was shared by the IM band in 2013 to remember their early years. It was made with impulse tracker.
  11. Kinder Der Erde - Evolution (12" Mix) (1995). Of course, it’s not a 20-minute track, but 13 minutes is still quite a substantial length.
  12. Can’t believe nobody mentioned Laughing Buddha. It’s basically Cosmosis from another angle. )) They only did like six or seven Goa tracks, but every single one is top notch. Personally, I’m a big fan of Karma
  13. The Solar Question Mark? - Acid Baba (1995) | 20:32
  14. Solar Quest - Harmonation (Energic Trance) (1995) 22:00
  15. I dropped an Excel file on Google Drive — set it up so you can download it with one click. The file has 4 sheets, one for each playlist. Feel free to peek at the tracklists before listening. There are some rarities in there too — not always the catchiest melodies, but pretty much unknown stuff. And let’s be honest, half the fun of playlists is digging up hidden gems. So yeah, give it a spin if you’re curious. Enjoy… or don’t 😅
  16. On laptop the playlists in my post work fine, but on phone they don’t So I added clickable links in the first post. Unfortunately, I can’t add the Excel file – it’s not allowed by the forum rules, the system just doesn’t let me attach it.
  17. I think the track Afrotrance - Spiritual Energy is a masterpiece. Nothing more, nothing less. And it’s one of the best floating goa trance tracks. It has an amazing build-up. The melody keeps changing in subtle ways (evolving). And if this is not considered a melodic track, then I don’t know what is. Just so you know, it’s a track with a long intro, and the melody starts at the third minute. You can find my comment on YouTube, I left a timestamp there.
  18. The difference between psytrance and goa trance is not at all about the presence or absence of melodies. There are plenty of goa trance tracks without a beautiful leading melody. I linked four playlists and the links were correct. I don’t know why the forum trimmed them down to a single track. I’m writing from my phone right now, it’s not convenient for me to edit it.
  19. Hi there! Glad you clicked the title and ended up here. What you see is yet another “Top” list made by a random nobody on the internet 😉 This time, it’s all about Goa trance tracks with beautiful leading melodies. Two key words: beautiful and melodic. Important note: these are not playlists of the “best Goa tracks ever” — they are playlists of tracks with the best melodies. Big difference. Oldschool has the priority. I’ve heard very little new school (not really my cup of tea), but there are a few new school tracks included here and there. The playlists are made for home listening, not necessarily for burning the dancefloor — though that works too. Personally, I listen to them while walking my dog or at work. Ideally, I like tracks with just one strong leading melody — not melody after melody after melody. That way the track sticks in your head and stands out. Of course, there are exceptions, like Infected Mushroom – Dancing With Kadafi (though you won’t find it here; a few IM tracks were in my drafts, but I dropped them since they’re not really Goa). Each playlist has 200 tracks. Why 200? Because that’s the YouTube playlist limit, and it’s convenient for editing. I actually have enough material for at least 3 more playlists, but sorting takes time. Sometimes I find a good track, but if it doesn’t match the quality of the others, I (sadly) cut it out. It’s been a tough selection process. You can’t cover everything. There will always be amazing tracks I haven’t heard, or forgot, or that you love but I don’t. Making choices is hard. And don’t forget: this is just the selection of some random nobody from the internet Bonus: if anyone wants the full list in Excel — I’ve got it, happy to share. Below are the first four parts. More to come… Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | More to come…
  20. Celldweller - The Last Firstborn (Instrumental) (2003) | Metal+goa trance
  21. Metal+goa trance Celldweller - The Last Firstborn (2003)

  23. Psychaos - Future Rocks. Flying Rhino Records, October 1997. UK.
  24. If you like Darshan dark goa trance check track Resonance – New World. Resonance is one track project from Darshan duo.
