    V/A - UK Trance

Nice review. Love this compilation. Too bad Transient went down=/ Check out the new VA- Purple from TIPWorld for another ace track from aphid moon(&lucas). Love the UK sound more and more.
  2. Actually the new cover is pretty ok. If you care to buy the album you will see there is a poem printed all over it which you dont see in the webshops scans. The album itself is not much more than ok though. There are some really nice morning tracks in it but some of the tracks is double dipped in cheese. Especially the first track almost made me throw up. I give it 6/10.

    Beija Flor

It's the opening track if nothing changed.
  4. Nothing to offer? That's bullshit. I rate UK Trance and Sally Doolallys Trancexpressions as some of the top compilations of last year. Very sad news!
  5. towelie, I was just about to write the same comment=) the phutureprimite album will be a classic as soon as people start to get their hands on it. Don't think I have seen it on the usual psyshops(saiko, psyshop, chaosunl etc). I got my copy from some webshop selling it through ebay located in usa. But of those three you mentioned in the beginning of the thread I would go for Shulmans second album. I think it's truly one of the best chillout albums released.
  6. Better than 8th sphere... The last track makes me so high:) Massive madness at it's best.

  8. Why would you like them to make a oldskool goa album?! That would just be silly. Deedrah and Absolum is two of my favourite acts. I agree that it would be cool if they can develope a specific "transwave" style instead of just those two acts meeting eachother in the middle somewhere. Both of them are so highly skilled musicians so I doubt we can expect anything else than a real high quality album. I really look forward to it.
  9. Yeah there's a VHS and DVD out. But it's made back in 1993 and is not really top notch even though it's quite trippy. Not 100% sure it reflects the kind of visuals McKenna is talking about.
  10. Don't you exaggrigate abit? I defintately think Etnica has developed with Pride. I like all their albums from the first to the last. Definately not "dragging the name into the dirt". But I really hope they will make Pleiadians their melodic project. Would be great!
  11. Agreed!... I could stand with that the music isn't especially interesting and that it just doesnt fit my taste. But the vocals is just silly. Just namedropping alot of lame "cyber" words. There has been alot of good examples how vocals can be used in trancetracks but this is not very good at all. I have listened to the album many times but comes up with the same conclusion. Take Superintelligence for an example. A pretty good track.. then at the end they just throw in a silly voice repeating "Superintelligence" a couple of times. Destroys alot of that track. Check out the "Meller" album for something really progressive in my ears. Good use of vocals there.
