Pops/Clicks/Cracks: Try adjusting your Latency (By adjusting your Sample Buffer Size), higher Buffer-size means higher Latency, lower Latency means Lower Buffer-size and too low Buffer-size makes the pops/clicks/cracks..

Nevermind. I remembered it to be the red VB-1 there was included in my SX3, well it was the grey.. and YES I have bought my Cubase SX3.1 completely legally.

Draw it in your sequencer where you draw all other midinotes that you want to have in your track.. Which sequencer are you using?

You said you want flexibillity and the possibility of creating your very own synth-sounds. Well then I wouldn't go for the Andromeda (Although it is nice to have some REAL analog equipment).. Triton sounds like it's out of the question. Really don't know anything about the waveforms on the NL. So I would (always) go for a Virus. But instead of a C I would go for a TI, if you have the money for it..

The comp doesn't make the create the bass-sound, it only gets it into the drive, ducks and so on... You firstly need a proper bass-sound, some say VB-1, but I don't seem to get anything interresting out of the plug. When I started in Cubase about half a year ago I used Novation's V-Station plugin as I was told that I could make basslines very close to a Nord Lead 2.. This didn't get away as I wanted so I got another tip from another friend, tried Albino 2, and I was instantly addicted. Albino 2 is such a nice synth for bass, try it out if you get the opportunity. A little sidenote about Albino: Albino 3 has recently been released, but as far as I know it isn't a good idea to upgrade from 2 to 3 as the 3rd version drags all the power out of your CPU (And we don't want that to happen, especially when you have to run 7-8-9 other VSTi's simultaneously), so try to avoid Albino 3, and just run the 2nd version..

Just draw the note 3 octaves higher than the original note..

"Btw, the second track could be translated to Koxbox vs Transwave" Does this mean that Dado/Deedrah and Christof/Absolum formed Transwave? Only heard 1 Transwave track back from the days (Rezwalker), this kicks ass, but absolum and deedrah are both in completely different directions now imo. Can anyone confirm my question?

Like there's said, Last PC-version af Logic was Logic Platinum 5.5.x.x...., and as far as I know it's too old to support dualcore-processors (Don't know with hyperthreading), so if you wanna run on PC I would go for either Live or Cubase SX.. Mentioned above, Astral Projection runs Mac's, but what I've seen them they use Cubase (But they also be running Logic, dunno).... I personally haven't had any crashes with my SX3.1 on a 2½ year old PC (Running XP, haven't been formated in 1½ year but have run slowly overall the last 2-3 months because of major system-additions, like 2 gigs extra Ram and so on).. If you want Logic then go for Mac, now that Apple owns it it has become MUCH better than the 5.5 PC-version... If you want quality then go for Mac. If you want a lowbudget but nicely functioning computer with anything else than logic 6-7.X then go for a PC.

If you want to change, edit or make .REX-files then you need the Propellerheads software called ReCycle..

I don't really think I know what you want to do. Do you want to make .REX-files or just Wav/Aif, or is it just basic how you create beats or what?

I just basically love my UAD-1 card. Really good plugs, if I have to point out some plugs it will be the RealVerb-Pro, Pultec EQ, Cambridge EQ & Roland Dimension D Chorus.

Saw him playing a DJ-set 3 weeks ago, it fucking blew me away! But yeah the album holds some different styles, like mentioned above, the track Quake is really going to be nice, a bit cosma-sound imo..

Think I'm gonna get this album. I've only heard Liquid Soul - Transmission, can anybody say if the album-stuff is as "melodic" as Transmission?

No matter what people say, I still enjoy his music..
