I heard this on the Psychoactive ScandoSounds compo from BOOM RECS. Very Very acidic, and quite dark! Not my cup of tea I liked FRIPIC BOUNCE's "Clerkdrive Phanwiz" off that album bonza melody which kicks off in the end! I agree - perfect track from etnica. I also like the new Aes Dana track from Apsara compo on Sunstrip Recs. Called "digitalys" - very very tripped, well composed and has that signature Aes Dana sound. Very true mate. However some of the 'sheilas' in my area would disagree with you there. Music travels very slow to my part o' the world. Yeah, I guess thats also my interpretation of what a classic is Im new to psymusic but im working from goatrance upwards and its amazing how quickly new sounding stuff quickly becomes old... Smith

Thanks for the replies So, a classic can be defined as either goa trance, early psytrance, a track that is memorable or a track that gets spun more often than not at parties after its release? Is that right, maybe ive got it confused? Also can classic not refer to an album which sold many many copies regardless of its release date? Does success instantly lable status? smith

What is your definition of a classic? Ive many dudes describe new music to me and usually end up with the phrase "its a classic!" Ive heard this heaps in the psytrance scene, and it got me wondering, well. what is a classic? Why do we use the term? Isn't classic something which should relate to the period (ie - bachoven & Mozovsky et al?) smith

Hmmm-around where I live I guess downloading is a problem as the records stores are stocking "very minimal" psytrance. We're talkin Tammy Wynette / Linda Rondstadt territory here!! (although 'Heart Like A Wheel' is brilliant IMO!!) I guess what would make me wana buy albums instead of takin it easy and downloadin it, would be cash! If ive got it rollin in, then the original albums start rollin in. Sayin that, if the cash aint comin in but the album has some amazing artwork or freebies then ill buy it, somehow.

cool topic - IMO, YES. I see lots of people in this scene wanting to make themselves stand out from the crowd everytime I go out, but I guess everyone does this no matter the scene. Trolsk - leave him alone, he cant help it!
