  1. Obviously old-school goa-trance beats anything else hands down... From these categories I like maybe full on the least, although the first albums from those artists (im, astrix) were great/good. Tech-trance can be super boring too though, most of new music is, no matter which category really.
  2. What's wrong with being able to listen before bying, or keeping a copy of something you wouldn't buy anyway. It's no one's loss.
  3. Everyone is entitled to their opinion of course, I suppose it's a matter of taste after all. I just can't help the feeling that they are no longer doing their best nor putting 100% into their music. Sure, there may be nice musical hooks here and there, but as a whole it just feels quite shallow. As to artists changing their style and experimenting, maybe I'm just old fashioned but sometimes I think it would be better to keep doing what you're good at instead of forcefully trying to do something different just for the sake of it and ending up with a forced and pretentious result... Keeping your style doesn't mean that you can't create something new! It just means that even the new stuff sounds like you.
  4. I don't get some of you people. What "new style"? The style of this album is exactly the same as CV, which already wasn't _that_ much different from BPM. What's completely missing from IM's music these days is that the tracks don't build anymore. On Gathering and Classical, every time you thought "omfg, this track can't get better" it took one step further. There's just none of that left anymore. I guess it's inevitable for every artist that after too many releases, skills remain but ideas run out.
  5. Hmm, I'm sure there's tons of them but maybe Hux-Flux, I hear absolutely nothing in his music. And yeah also Shpongle, I love the track Behind Closed Eyelids but other than that nothing special imo. I do think Twisted is the best album ever though, much better than The Lone Deranger (which is still good). I think it's time for Simon to work on his better project for a change.
