  1. hmmm...mine took perhaps 2 weeks to arrive. I think all of them were in VG+ to mint condition except one which had a noticeable scratch. edit: I just read your post more carefully...yea he is a bit sketchy but so far I am happy with his offerings. I think I probably paid about 1/3 of what the items were worth.
  2. Friendly and helpful guy. He sent me KoxBox - Dragon Tales on Orange Records. It got to (Canada) and fro (Europe) in like three days in mint condition.
  3. Atmos - Random Landlord haha, I missed that one. Pretty funny.
  4. hehe Total Eclipse - Access Denied (inc. chocolate hole)

  6. thanks David. I have one with the LFO button missing as well as the 'wheel 3 hold' button being imbedded slightly, into the machine. Both 'buttons' I think are still functional though, as you can probe around 'inside' and press the 'real' button. If anyone is interested in buying it from me send me an offer over 200 euros. One other thing I should mention is that - and the synth has be like this since I purchased it - sometimes the strip on the 'log' doesn't behave perfectly smoothly as well as one of the five programmable knobs. (knob 1 I think). The synth has quite a few sophisticated abilities and the trade off was that it was only a mono synth, so this is the ideal sort of machine for someone trying to learn how to program ring modulation or whatever... and ukiro, I didn't know that fact about MFG either! interesting!
  7. Yeah, but I paid dearly for these ones. Part of the fun is the hunt anyway... Mike
  8. Anything that distinguishes it from the masses. It needs to have some kind of a unique 'tag' or signature of some kind so that collectors can regard it as real 'property' With the current situation, an MP3 or .wav isn't truly perceived by a consumer as 'property'.
  9. It's missing a button, the LFO one.
  10. thank you. I wish I could afford that book. edit: cunts give you a five page taste.
  11. Also I got TIP CD1 and TIP CD4 I need cash badly so I am willing to sell them if some wants either or both. 40 for the CD4 45 for the CD1 80 for both USD.
  12. I am actually taken with the Live CD the most but for different reasons. The AZTEK CD is the most striking. The Eigou Kaiki is the cleverest. The Live CD is the most brilliant. The Strong Sun Moon CD is perhaps the most creative.
  13. Also got THIS which has a remix of Solstice by Hallucinogen which no one put in the notes. I will mail you within 2 days on those Japanese CDs DP. I need to check with the guy to find out if it is cool - I'm sure it will be fine. Prices averaged 30$ US but don't quote me SVP. \\n edit: to which I would add: the Retrodelica CD is one of the best CDs I have ever heard.
  14. DP, I am so excited about these ones in particular that yes I will certainly make some 300kB scans for Discogs. The Strong Sun Moon release has a poster inside of the gatefold digipak with very interesting art as well. The EQUINOX logo, I don't know if you have seen it, but it is just remarkable looking...difficult to describe. The music I haven't gotten to yet because I have been examining Ubar Tmar's non-musical content for mathematical patterns. For example: Patterns So I am trying to dissect his stuff bit by bit. I will contact you about the disks.

    thank you for clarifying
  16. Ubar Tmar - Live which is stunning. The artwork would take me about 30 minutes of typing to explain properly but basically: the sleeve is tiled with a set of Penrose's tiles, but even more striking is the fact that on the CD itself is another aperiodic tiling onto the Hyperbolic Plane which is just a really fascinating idea. (to me) Typically tilings of the Hyperbolic Plane are depicted on a circle and the artist has used the CD's circular shape to exploit this. Ubar Tmar - Eigou Kaiki which is stunning. Again the cover is is tiled with Penrose tiles - this time it is the Darts & Kites. THIS which is stunning The artwork is soooo beautiful. It is all chrome against white with intricate 'impossible' escheresque figures and such.. THIS which is stunning.

No she was referring to my post. My understanding was that Colin is basically running the OOOD ship and has been for awhile.
  18. These algorithms must be very, very sophisticated. I can't fucking imagine where to start.
  19. haha! I know what you mean antic, but what I was getting at was: Are they different track altogether? Looks like the answer is no. \\n
  20. very cryptic. sounds like another puzzle. I really hate it when I see something like that because it means I have to do nothing except solve it. I think I will let this one go though.

The canonical example used to describe the illogical pronunciation in the English language is: GHOTI=FISH I will leave it to you to work out the details. English speakers don't spoil it please.
