  1. good luck Aaron I won't bid against you. I'm out for a bit. (having no money and all)
  2. that's what I meant between the two - Loin King or its Remix, the Loin King is good but the Remix is not that good, so if it is good it is not the Remix so it is the Loin King. I phrased it in a really weird way, sorry
  3. Think about it: 1) the music is fantastic & you want it in original format 2) it's very rare & therefor has a high trading value These two things are not mutually exclusive. precisely. I definitely go way out of my way to look for rare+valuable items. after doing piles of research into trance you become aware of what things are worth. so naturally if I see a 50$ cd sitting on ebay listed as: U.F.O. - Pleaidiens rar..dance musik!!!!1 But it now! 6,99 euro I'm gonna click that button as fast as I possibly can. if you saw money lying on the ground would you grab it? having these things allows me to have some trading leverage to obtain the shit I'm really after. what do I ultimately want? what visine said: rare, valuable and fucking brilliant. who the hell wants some piece of rare garbage unless to just flaunt to people who also appreciate rare garbage. Rainbirds CD is a perfect example. suppose I know that a dude is willing to trade me the Crop Circles CD for Rainbirds. Then acquiring Rainbirds is equivalent to acquiring Crop Circles. I don't give a fuck about Rainbirds but for all intents and purposes they are the same. is it manipulative? i guess. everyone does it though.
  4. I didn't listen to the sample but if it is good then it is not the remix. my information came from the Discogs comments. perhaps someone should submit a small note.
  5. I will be interested if my 500$ shipment of 2 months old doesn't arrive soon.
  6. I once stared at him so long that I was temporarily blinded. edit: err...wait, no that was because I touched myself.
  7. ukiro: as I learn more about music releases it is becoming increasingly apparent to me that what happens at the pressing plant is rarely a smooth process. Add that many Goa producers and their friends are high on hallucinogens half the time and I think what we get is a batch of vinyls pressed, sometimes with mistakes, sometimes in unrecorded quantities, etc.. It is not surprising to see many 'variations' of a release. I have a copy of Twisted with a TIP shiva logo on one of the sides. Shit happens.
  8. I am missing the .dll necessary to install it on my machine. I will try to get around to either finding the .dll or else I am sending it to visine so he can take a look.
  9. I don't see how this could be so. draeke's track was released in 1994 correct? the SWIV thing would have been made after the 'Loin King' was released, correct? The Loin King' was released in 1996 correct? Loin King I found out about the SWIV track about two months ago. When I searched for it on eBay two days later, I found it in five minutes. It was 2,50 euros. Should be easy to find. Just search for 'SWIV' under the category 'Video Games' edit: ebay >>> 8261682446
  10. Hi Louis 8D, I actually just happened to be snooping in your collection not 2 hours ago !!! you are in Canada IIRC ??
  11. draeke is ALWAYS the first guy to spot a new release being submitted. Like whenever I think: wow I just spotted a new Ra track on some comp. there is like either 0 or 1 people who have it and 1 person who wants it. One of the two is always Federico!!! I am sometimes second
  12. Yum Yum - 3 Minute Warning - (Pobs Seismix)
  13. ACK! why did it take me so long!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! u fucker
  14. Various - Trance Progression http://www.discogs.com/release/239365 I'm a little disappointed, but I have been extremely distracted while listening to it so... edit: track 5,6 are good.
  15. see this thread: http://www.psynews.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=29214
  16. I am in possession for reasons I will not go into, the main board out of a Roland MC-303 GrooveBox. The integrated circuits, sound banks, everything on the main board (about 6x8 inches) is pristine. Does anyone have a use for this?
  17. you do not smell bad in any way. get it out of your mind.
  18. the man was brilliant. Paul Erdos had a saying: God has a thin little book containing all the theorems. I reckon Godel's proof would be in that book. one page. David Hilbert was blasted off his ass and HE was no slouch. Incidentally, Paul Erdos had MAJOR difficulty grasping the Monty Hall Theorem !!!
