  1. Sounds like sound advice, the only minor hitch being that most of those albums are impossible to get these days.
  2. It's available just about everywhere, as a Twisted Recs. re-release. An ace record, of course, totally worth getting.
  3. Also, the Ambivalent Records -compilation "Significant Elf Proclivity". What a great album.
  4. On a related note, has anyone seen the kind of folder that would be ideal for housing a collection of minidiscs? I have folders for cds as well as a sturdy road-case for cds, but would need something to keep those small darned mds organized while on the road.
  5. I'll answer for psy-fi's behalf: They are going to the "Same same but different" -party on Phayam.
  6. He's got a wicked live... He fiddles alot with the machinery, dances around and looks very active in general. His new album is out now, so that's the stuff he'll probably be playing... good stuff it is too, if I may add. Go go go see him.
  7. Sawasdee! Psy-Cds in Bangkok are pretty much few and far between... There used to be a store with some albums at Pantip Plaza (Thanon Phetchaburi), you could go check if it's still there. Otherwise, just hang around KsRd and you are likely to run into some desks offering some psy in the form of burned copies. Good luck. How long are you staying?
  8. Well fook me, can't seem to find it now. It is a good track indeed.
  9. No no! A brain fart occured! The second one is not The Rip. Duh... the correct track name will come to me in a second, BRB.
  10. First one: Luminus - Blue Shiva, or Phoenix - Heaven and Hell (they both have that sample) Second one: Die Sonne - The Rip
  11. Ha! Should be a goody. "Aircraft" kicks some big-time hiney, I hope your track on this new comp is equally impressive. Thanks.
  12. I'll play Curved Air for that. Damn it was a nice ride while it lasted, all the best for your future projects.
  13. I don't. The fact is, I could upload some Mikko Alatalo somewhere, after renaming it Pleiadians - Maïa (Slinky Nuns "Holier than a Choirboy" -remix), and then any little brat could claim that a track like this does actually excists (it has to, 'cos he has it right there on the hard-disk! Duh!). It would still be the same old Mikko-tune, though. So how do I know it? I'm making an educated guess. It's not like this is a forum of stone-cold facts anyway.
  14. Järsimähäiriö, Hels means "We Got Ice Crystals", and it certainly does exist, as I'm listening to it right now. lol. lol, what lol? No such track excists. The track you were listening to is actually called Alien Project - Silent Running You might wanna check your facts before lolling anyone, mister.
  15. Astrix & Alien Project - We have Ice Crystals Haha, WTF is this? Just a FYI, there is no such track. Contact your local MP3-dealer for more info.
  16. That sounds wicked, Craig... Go have a storming set, dude! And also, good luck on being a full-time musician, hopefully that'll mean we have some boot-kicking new material in the horizon. I was supposed to be in Australia for the OZclipse, but due to unfortunate circumstances involving some broken bones and loads of other mess to boot, won't make it. So everyone headed to Lyndhurst, have a good one as well. For me.
  17. Visionary - Glass This is an excellent excellent track, on the compilation "Floor" by Medium Records.
  18. Jieun - Read through this thread and you'll notice that the difference between Phayam/Pha Ngan is fully understood. Also, read message #3 for the little some I can tell you about getting on the RIGHT island (Phayam).
  19. I'm surprised, "Traveller" posting as "Traveller" in an MP3-related topic... I thought it was something of a tradition for you to use one of your numerous other nicknames?
  20. Dude, where in Thailand are you at the moment? Haad Rin? I mean it must be some crappy place as you feel like sitting in an inet-cafe typing these long, admittably very well-written and informative, stories. ;) I've also stumbled across some of your messages on the TT at LP. Hey, keep 'em comin', Puri sounds like a place to check. Where are you headed after the OZclipse, I'm guessing not back to the States anyway? You've been on the road like what, more than a year now? Laters.
  21. it's all gone Pete Tong Dude, that makes for an excellent quote, mind if I use it sometime? With south you mean South-Goa, or even more south, as in Gokarna maybe?
  22. I'd pick Parasense - Apple 10 times if I was given 10 opportunities to choose. However, that's just me. Go to Saikosounds-site, you can listen to snippets of all the tracks on both these albums there, then make your decision. If still in doubt, get both.
  23. Yeah, that must the craziest few kilometres in Thailand, or thereabout at least... (especially in said consitions... even if you take away the Sang Som -aspect). However, when it's dry and the sun is shining, the very same road makes for a nice, leisurely drive, with some breathtaking views to boot. BTW, are you saying that you DIDN'T wear a leather-jacket, jeans, boots and mittens when driving?
