  1. Go away, you suck! Ha, just kidding dude! Will check out your mix asap. Great name, BTW. Clagnut, that's one to memorize.
  2. Ha, bus to Goa, from Delhi? Better fly to Mumbai if by any means possible.
  3. Hmmm... But "Stop Them" is ALSO on the new album, so...
  4. The best of this sound IMO: PPS Project Also, Droidlock is one to check out.
  5. Hmm, I'd say it DOES get pretty chilly during the nights, as in you'll-need-a-pullover kind-of chilly, during november-december... However, from january onwards, the nights are just peachy.
  6. Pleiadians - Maïa You know what I'm talking about, you know it makes sense.
  7. Bah, Paradiso de Anjuna or WTF it's called, is a club-like environment, meaning indoors... Somehow, they are the only place that has an official permission to keep playing amplified music after 10 p.m. in the whole of Anjuna... Gil played there last year, or so I've been told, but it really sucks as a venue.
  8. I think it sounds older than it actually is (1999), like all the tracks on all but the very latest SST-comps.
  9. Say... How about those dafodils, then? Lovely, just lovely.
  10. Beginner's guide to party-scene in Goa -Two small steps to oblivion- 1.) Get yourself a place to stay, in North Goa, preferably in Chapora/Vagator or maybe Anjuna/Arpora. Morjim and Arambol are cool places as well, a bit far away from the center of things, though. There are great beaches in southern talukas also, especially Palolem, but locating yourself there is not too convenient as far as the parties are concerned; The "scene" is in north. 2.) Once the night falls, do what everybody does and drift to Primrose Cafe, overlooking the big Vagator beach. Have a beer, roll a joint, enjoy the breeze. Get into a conversation with people. The changes are, if there's going to be a party somewhere, you'll hear about it this way. Or, if you don't feel talkative, just keep your eyes open: Lots of people heading off on their motorbikes is a pretty good sign of a party happening somewhere (unless of course the party takes place in Disco Valley right on the Vagator beach;)... just follow the suit. Besides Primrose, Nine Bar and Robert's are other classic early-evening hang-outs in Vagator. After the weekly market (on wednesdays), Shore Bar in Anjuna gets packed with party-people of all sizes and shapes, a bit too packed even. You'll hear about parties there also. Again, gotta stress that these days, parties are anything but a sure thing outside the couple of weeks over xmas/New Years... Most likely they do happen but infrequently, and the organizers face some serious BS from police's behalf. Not to worry, though, as Goa is not just about parties, there's loads and loads more to it. Go there and see for yourself.
  11. Dang! I knew I shouldn't of thrown away that handy little catalog. You got me wondering now... Let's assume you're correct: What are the odds on succeeding to re-arrange the tripodical radiators with such a peculiar device? Hmmm, the plot thickens.
  12. I don't understand the question in that message above this one. Anjuna is in North-Goa, in taluk Bardez. Go to google and type "Map of Goa", should be informative.
  13. That should be the catalog-code of the right-hand side locking-jaw of a stainless-steel cardiatric defibrillator with a mounted gauss-unit. But you'll need also the left-hand side locking-jaw before you're ready and good to go. Glad to be of help.
  14. No, it's not been released. Your MP3s don't really count as official release. Flying Rhino ran into problems right around the time it was supposed to hit the shelves, but I've gathered that it's destiny is a bit in the air now that FR is no more.
  15. Hmmm... a tough one... not. Pleiadians - IFO Now and forever.
  16. ...damn, here I go, feeling like a complete twat now (happens to me a lot these days)... It appears that you DID mean Phayam after all (my apologies), just stumbled across the parties-section and saw what you mean... SO, forget ALL the things I said in the previous post! However, I don't think that Phayam will "keep going" after that party, so for partyparty-times you definitely need to mobilize yourself. Getting to Ranong: The railway doesn't go there, so taking bus is the only choice. Or, you could take a train down to Chumphon (where the boats leave to Koh Tao), and then a bus from Chumphon to Ranong. But I'm not really familiar with the subject so I'll just stop here, before more damage is done. (Oh, gotta add one more thing: The name of the Phayam party-organizers, "Same same but different", is what you'll hear if you ask a street-seller what's the difference between any two items (s)he is selling... Try it, they are always same same but different. This is especially true to India, but works well in Thailand too.
  17. dec - jan, the season runs from late oct till march, but december is definitely the busiest time party-wise... Can get a bit dead after New Years nowadays. I'm no expert on the subject but little parties held away from the masses are still said to be going strong, finding one can be a bit of a pain in the backside if you don't know the right people, though.
  18. HAven't been there yet, but will go for TET (Chinese NY), Don't think there's much psy to be expected there, but that's-no biggie. Seeing you get there before me, I would love to hear some first hand experience regarding Saigon (HCMC)...
  19. Couple of days? Couple of months more like. Goa really is a place that you can't visit in a hurry, I know I couldn't, getting stuck there is to be expected. I'd stay in Chapora/Vagator and rent a bike for getting around. In Kerala, there are nice beaches also... Varkala has a bit of a scene (? how is it these days anyway?).
  20. Koh Phayam? There is not much of a party-scene on Koh Phayam, off the coast near Ranong? I take it you mean Koh Pha-Ngan? It's dead easy to get to Pha-Ngan, it's an overnight trip on a train or on a bus... The cheapest option would run you for ~350 Thai Baht, and involves a bus-boat combination bought via an agent on Khao San Road. More comfy and a tad more expensive is to get yourself a sleeping-berth on a Suratthani bound train that leaves from Hualampong train-station, and then when you arrive early in the morning, take a taxi to pier and boat to Pha-Ngan. Of course, if you feel like splashing out a bit, you could fly to Samui and take a boat from there, OW-flight BKK - Samui can be had for a very reasonable price. Money & costs: Are you willing to rough it? I'd say a budget of ~1000Baht is really comfortable enough if you're staying in one place. Mind you, could make do on LOT less, but you can also spen from your hearts content. My estimation would consist of following: Accommodation - On Pha-Ngan, the rock-bottom bungalows start from ~80Baht. If you're willing to stay where the action (and the piss-drunk, loud-mouthed morons) is, i.e. Haad Rin, the scale goes from ~200Baht upwards. An Ok Bungalow with private shower&toilet can definitely be had for 250 Baht in Haad Rin. Nicer concrete-bungalows will set you back maybe 500Baht a night. Food - Basic noodle-soup ~30Baht, other dishes more. Western food is abundant in Haad Rin and Chicken Corner makes good sandwiches for 50Baht. Drinking - A bottle of Sang Som -"Whisky" costs 80Baht in grocery-stores... And will get you totally drunk. Big Chang -beer is around 70Baht a bottle. Motorbike rental/taxi - Either one is essentiall for going to parties around the island. The motorbike rent depends on how many days you're paying for but should be less than 200 Baht/a day. Taxi will get you anywhere on the island for less than 100B (cost depends on the time of the day, distance etc. etc.) I'll be arriving in Bangkok on 13th january and will fly to Vietnam for Chinese New Year (in the beginning of february), and then overland through Campodia back to Thailand and onwards to Malaysia and Indonesia. Who knows, maybe we can arrange a mini-gathering around mid-january. Drop me mail if you're willing to ask something more or just generally talk smack about anything.
  21. Anjuna is in North-Goa, while Kerala is a state in Southern-India.
  22. Insane Tubulators - Super MDMArio What more do you need to know?
  23. Seriously, dude, he is. Luminus is the only Israelian out of those, just threw the rest in for the heck of it.
  24. Kamu mempunyai jamur yang dapat di makan ilmu sihir? Just ask for magic mushies, that's international. Touts are dudes trying to convince you of the excellency of something, be it products or services or anything. In general, young loud-mouthed males, that can be really persisting and annoying.
