Sick stuff. The last part of it makes me feel like im being sucked into a black hole. Its actually quite scary...

Wow, this is REALLY good!
Awesome mix. One of the best Ive heard in ages actually.
-
Downloading this now.
I take it the correct way to listen to this is on a pair of Sony MDR-V700's at top volume, low lighting, incense perhaps and a large joint of the finest cannabis in London?

Sub 6 - Who needs love songs
Still cracy good.

I dont get why you dont get more gigs....

I have a pair of Sony MDR-V700's. They are pretty good. They retail for about £90/£100.
Ive had them for a year now and they are still mint.

Hahhahahaha!!!!!..and had the radio on. It's been months since I had that aural garbage on, but since my ipod died and my CD player is crap, I hadn't a choice. I couldn't help but notice how crappy every song sounded. Ok, some of the instrumentation was alright, but then the lyrics come in. Always shite, so boring, so stupid. So, as a contribution to the lyrical side of music, I made this melodic montage of nonsense.
Your so talented dude. Top quality stuff!!!

So I banged this on my ipod for the weekend and have listened to it about twice. Awesome, as I expected. Very groovy and such easy listening. Nice one nemo. Keep the vibe alive.

Nemo returns with another cracking original mix. I lose sleep waiting for his TekkTrance mixes to arrive, as the first and second were absolute belters. Nemo loves to play "good music", sometimes regardless of style or age. The result is always something fresh, flowing and never boring.
I can already tell from the first track that I am going to be listening to this mix a lot. I personally regard Nemo as the most talented DJ on this forum. Mainly because of his disregard of playing whats "new", "cool" or "in" this month, and just playing good fucking music.
I will post again once Im done listening to the whole mix, but I can already tell its going to be one of my favourites so far.
Nice one bruv. :clapping:

Translation :
Another generic full-on 4x4 psycrap album with hard kicks and a hi-hat in between them. Expect creative tripple bass samples between the kicks and add some scratchy and random synths and you've got what this album is really about.
A definite must have if you havnt already realised that psytrance is pants.

Ive given this album a listen now.
When you look at as nothing to do with psytrance, but an original peice of work.....it isnt actually half bad.
Production is top notch, but there are a few dodgy tunes.
8/10? I think thats a fair score. Mainly because it doesnt sound like the generic shit out there. They at least tried to do something different.
I like it.

Listening to it now mate. Good stuff, enjoying it.
Not as dark and sodomising as ur other mixes.
-
I'll be there. If you guys are coming to london, look me up. We'll make history.
-
What are you larning? English?

You are correct. Porcupine Tree rawks.
Fav tracks atm:
Heartattack In A Layby
Lazarus
Radioactive Toy
Sound Of Muzak
Gravity Eyelids
Insame track.

I wish to thank Feathers for introducing me to Porcupine Tree, prob one of the best bands I have heard in ages. Very deep, emotional and atmospheric, this is truely amazing stuff.
Do yourself a favour and give it a listen.
And if you have been living under a rock, also give Tool and Perfect Circle a chance. It pwns ur puny pie trance.

hi there,
so here goes the lenghtened and finished version. I tried cutting the reverb a bit and made it longer. The track is now called 8 Minutes.
Hope you still like it, anxious to get feedback.
Best regards,
Oli
Wow dude. VERY nice!
Id buy ur album.

My gf is blissfully unaware of the psy culture. bless her.
Its for the best.

"Aggressive" is spelt incorrectly.
"Massive Noise" doesnt sound like something I'd actually want to listen to. The construction workers that wake me up every morning at 8:30 make a "massive noise".

My views on the matter are as follows:
(1) First of all I think Trentmoller is vastly over-rated. Frankly, I do not understand what the fuss is all about.
(2) Isan and Schnauss are not that great either (Isan better than Schnauss). Although I confess to having purchased their albums in the past and still consider Isan's Lucky Cat to be a very nice release. It is not a bad label, but a lot of the Morr Music releases can be a bit iffy (although there are some fine ones as well...).
(3) I bloody hate the term "IDM". Particularly when it is used to describe stuff like the above artists.
(4) I, too, think that a lot of the Psy chill stuff is glorified muzak. And, yes it is the Entheogenic, Schulman style generic stuff which really gets my goat.
This is not to say that there are not plenty of interesting psy chill tracks - there are, and I will happily concede as much. However, a lot of tracks should simply not be released. Of course, I do appreciate that this is an accusation that can also be levelled at 'regular' psy trance as well (e.g. the full-on, or the dark psy).
I do not believe that saying "psy-chill sucks" is necessarily being unconstructively negative. Rather, I feel it can also be taken as a pointed lamentation which perhaps some might treat as a exhortation to improve quality in the genre (ignoring the matter of how ill-defined the "genre" is), . Hopefully, it will also encourage us to seek out the better releases and share the information with others in wonderful sites such as this one.
In its defense, it can be said that while a lot of the psy chill is clearly an unambitious and less challenging form of music, it nevertheless can still achieve its aim - to provide some relaxing music. In this context, much of psy chill does 'work'. Perhaps, this is destiny (in some cases, the overt aim) of much of the psy chill body of music.
Finally, I do want to make it quite clear that I do buy psy-chill here and there.
