Hi everyone.. Ive been asked to make a promo mix for a club, showing the track listing.... All the tracks that i would use will be released already.. This promo cd would clearly state that it isnt for sale too. NOW is this legal or not?

what would you think if i bounced down the whole track in to audio and bring it into the pool on another channel within the track? Seems to beef it up abit, and the track is not clippin? "No No" or "Go with it"

Hi all, :posford: Ive recently finish my first track im supa happy with. As you saw in my recent post, i had CPU problems, got that all sorted out, and managed to finish my track Now Im moving onto tightening it up. I've used the WAVES bundle effect " REQ2" on most of my channels cutting out most of the unwanted low freq's and high's in some cases. Ive also used Compression on quite a few channels, like my bassline and kick.. My track isnt clippin either, my highest dec level is -2.8, should it be higher... any suggestions on any VST's i should be using to clean it up and also beef it up more? siLO http://www.facebook.com/pages/SiLo/29644524648?ref=s

yeah happens after retsart.but ive seemed to have made the "VST Performance" down by switching off some inserts i dont really need... can a VST Effect cause these problems?

Hi everyone, Been a while since ive posted here... Im busy trying to finish this track im working on atm, and im getting "CPU Overload/Audio Drop out detected" msg in Cubase SX 3... Ive bounced down most of my midi into audio, and have also freezed most of VST's... Ive only got 9 VST's instruments, of which 5 i have put on freeze now? and im still getting this bloody MSG Could it be that i got alot of stuff in my pool? or a dodgy vst...BUT remember its only happening in this one tune im making? Please give me some advice, desparate, need to have finished this tune a week ago

Though the thing is this program does exactly what i want it to do. And thats record something and saving it into Wav format, which i would then throw into the Sampling Devices in Reason. The only thing that i cant figue out is why i cant get playback in Wavelab Lite? Theirs a master volume window in the program, with two volume peaks, they move when i press play, so in otherwords it seems to reckonise my recording but wont play it back (cant hear anything)... And when i save it into Wav format and play through something else, it works, but its a pain to do it this way, as i want to hear if the recording is worth saving... Been on other forums, read the manual, double checked my cabling, etc. And i just cant seem to find the solution

Do you mean collaborating with someone, like two of you playing at the same time, and recording it? dont really understand your question? If you already want to record something, like lay it down in the sequencer, then you can obviously play something else over it, in a different track or the same one? Maybe i misunderstood your question

I guess mixing and building your own song is entirely up to the individual. Thats why every song is different If you asking what are the normal procedures/tasks in building a psytrance track, just listen a song that you like and work with that.
