  1. If you're just after the music you could download .wav's. I bet someone has ripped IFO and Transdimensional to .wav.
  2. Mindsphere is shit though. I'd really enjoy listening to toilet sounds more. All because of the mastering. It's horrible.
  3. Not my style but I think it works. M88
  4. The guitar sound and the predictable melody it plays.
  5. I'm using Cubase SE (getting old now ). Thanks for the comment. When I'm producing I normally get a feeling of evil rather than childhood. All my best songs make me feel an exciting depression or rather an overwhelming fear when I'm composing them.
  6. I'm glad that we can share this opinion.
  7. Have you discovered file sharing yet?
  8. It wasn't too impressive Most of the tracks feel rather stale. Afgin's track is the most musical one, but kind of cheesy.
  9. Sounds like you've got piano hands But as I said: Music theory.
  10. You could use pretty much any synth. VB-1 is not very flexible, so I suggest using a real synth. A simple saw wave with sharp attack and short release. A pattern that goes something like this: bbBbbbBbbbBbbbBb KoooKoooKoooKooo (b is lower octave bass note, B is higher; K is kick drum, o is nothing). Sidechain the bass to the kick, or just automate the volume of the bass so that it's almost silent when the kick hits. The first b on every beat should barely be heard.
  11. Why don't you record yourself playing keyboard? It would be nice to hear how good you are. Do you play pop songs and such, or just improvising?
  12. When did you start making music? I advise you to start reading about music theory and playing keyboard. You will be able to create moods more smoothly if you know some stuff about harmony. Keep it up!
  13. Yeah I've done some longer songs Fun With Mr Swain: http://www.musicuploader.org/MUSIC/8876751207737632.mp3 (April 2007) Dront: http://www.musicuploader.org/MUSIC/2992121207737726.mp3 (March 2007)
  14. I've listened to it now. You've got the mixing really well (although I'd prefer the bass more to the centre). The melody you've got going with the bassline in the beginning (until 1:46) is really annoying. I'd rather have it play the same note repeatedly than that basic melody. Alternatively, you can add some fill-ins to make it interesting. The melody that comes in makes it clear either that 1. You've got no musical education, or 2. You're going for a dark, weird atmosphere. Possibly both. The track progresses nicely after that, with some harmonic content that actually feels like a bit more than filler (uncommon for psytrance in general); it's almost got something to tell me. Nice. I think this track has the potential to become a good one, if you keep building on that chord progression you've got running near the end.
  15. All I see is text
  16. I found that this album conveys a sensation of brown atoms in a peculiar recurring pattern.
  17. It's done with software. Focus was on the melodies. No advanced sound effects or percussion here
  18. -> Music promotion
  19. You pricks. 135 isn't slow. It's perfectly normal dance music tempo. Also, to the guy who acted like "dancey and psy" was opposite to "euro trance"... Well. No.
  20. I found "Tokyo Dub" interesting. Silly lyrics, but the singer is good. "Pretty Girl" is cool too. It's so far away from the old trance side of Juno. But I find it ironic that this music is so stupid and bland compared to what he did more than a century ago. Still, better than Labyrinth.
  21. Did this today. What do you think? http://www.musicuploader.org/MUSIC/778601207503242.mp3
  22. No, Holymen sucks But this album is great.
