Lovely melancholy... this is something I miss in most ambient released at the moment. I really like the moment where it sort of breaks loose at 4.20 or so. It jusitifies the monotone start (thus monotone in a good way). What I would like to hear in this tune is birds! Random digital effects wouldn't add anything in my opinion... this song needs real soundscapes - it needs to go outside the listeners "head" if that makes sense I might also add that I didn't really like the sort of trancey effect that pops up ever now and then (for example in the start at 0.22 or so). I totally understand your intention with it, and the sound itself really fits, but it feels a bit malplacé I think. I would like it to be in a higher volume, and maybe increase the delay on it so it doesn't fade away too fast! Anyway really nice track, I am a big fan of melancholy of this sort. Add some birds and I would be in love

I too have problems understanding how anyone could think this was THE best album of 2005. For me it's even below average :S

1. Fryityloops with various VST's, a standard keyboard, a pan flute and my lovely bongos 2. Months 3. My biggest problem is usually to tie all the parts together in a suitable way 4. Forests 5. Forest-psy!

I have to say that some of the best melodies I have heard in psytrance are found here... Especially the end of Made out of Vapour (7.00) and The Poisonous Square (7.40). Some really cool melodies in track 4, 5 and 9 as well! Plus - the atmosphere (with the high tempo in consideration) is unbeatable!
