  1. Hey thanks Evans That's exactly what I'm on to next. In the meantime I've been painting a mural in my house. I'm almost done with it and will post a pic when finished.
  2. This does sound good buzzman. I laughed heartily at the Ron Burgandy samples
  3. That's great news, Per. Can't wait to hear your field recordings. Where are you going on your trip? I guess I should say where did you go since you're probably traveling already. Heh, I'm losing patience with the track, too. I know how I want it to end, but it's just a matter of getting the last transition to fit with it.
  4. +1,000,000 to that. This is a great piece of work, Per. Can't wait for your EP release
  5. Why does Torbjörn keep sniffing his butt when I ask him if he wants a treat? Very cool track, Per. This has retro vibes written all over it. The chord changes are quite intelligent as they course between a haunting mood and a melancholic atmosphere. I do love that you made this track cyclical to resemble the Mayan concept of time. You can almost visualize folding this track and connecting the two ends As far as sound quality goes, I have no issues with it except for clarity at the mid section. It could just be my stereo because my old receiver died. I'll listen on different systems and get back to you on it. Again, truly excellent work, Per I'm very happy that the music continues to successfully flow.
  6. Everytime I'm inspired to write some music it's at night. I don't think I've ever had daytime inspiration. Things always get in the way during the day - phonecalls, work, neighbors, eating . I'm sure this is the same for a lot of musicians here. I can generally remember where I was and what I was feeling for all of my finished tracks. My happiness often coincides with the completion of a track. This really sucks. It's become a lot more difficult to write music I'm happy with plus it takes a million times longer than it used to. In the first 5 years of music making, I could stay up until the mid-morning, which would often be 10+ hours and finish a 7-10 min piece. Now, it can take me months to complete 1 min intro.
  7. Thanks so much, Colin. If I get around to it, I'll post it here
  8. Are you looking for something intelligible or speaking in tongues crazy?
  9. Thanks seraph! Thanks a lot Time Trap Awesome! Those Galaga ships would be a cool thing to make. It really depends on the design to calculate how much time it takes. On average, I'd say about a week, if I were to do nothing else but work on one. Thanks Malevol3nt, you know, I could make another one of these if you're interested. I'm finally finished, DP. It took so long because of the sanding and staining. There were so many little wood niblets and random debris that were a bitch to remove. I think it looks great now! I'll send you my PayPal and get your address
  10. Thanks Puck I'm using a drill and a scroll saw.
  11. Awesome! I am so tired of this piece. I need at least a year before i listen to it again
  12. Heheh, Thanks Insejn! There's PLENTY I can't do, but I cannot tell you what those things are
  13. Sweet! Thanks NN You're right, it does sound better, as with the wav, the high end has a better presence.
  14. Heh, I've probably listened to this one 25-30 times. It's my favorite of yours and hasn't gotten old at all
  15. Thanks Getafix You think Twisted would take this one? Wow! Great to know you liked it Seraph Thanks a lot! Very cool Thanks a bunch, f0rce! If you or anyone want to remix this one, don't hesitate to PM me.
  16. Thanks, alleycat. The Klingon weapons (heheh) are made of pine and the mandala is oak.
  17. That's cool, Colin. It's a very narrative piece with a lot going on. It certainly deserves genuine orchestral instruments. Wouldn't you love to be able to hear a real orchestra play your work? Man, that's one of my biggest dreams. Having only GM instruments was the main reason why I placed orchestral composition on the backburner for so long. It's frustrating to have these grand epic ideas that have limited translation. What game was this for, some kind of fantasy adventure or RPG? Thanks for sharing, Colin
  18. Heh, I thought I made a thread about orchestral music a while back. I just finished this last night and I'm soooo happy with this I just had to share it with you all. Even though it's short, this sucker took me almost a year to complete. It's called Doomsday. If you have the time to listen, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
  19. I did, thanks. Same to you.

  20. At what age does would the Senior's Club accept members?
  21. Ah! You finished it :clapping: This has a different sound to your other tracks, and I love it just as much as your last few. It starts off so dark and playful with such great chord structure. You put in a lot of great sounds from the wah-ki-cha guitar at 2:10 to the quirkiness of the bouncing synth. If Danny Elfman were to create electronic tracks I think they'd sound somewhat like this. When the vibe lightens at 3:06 I swear this sounds like something I'd write. It's so bittersweet here and gives me an awesomely warm feeling. Concerning the mix quality, I have zero qualms. I believe you have a signature sound that I can identify quite easily Damn, I'm really loving your music, Per. Most excellent work :) :posford: Out of curiosity, why did you name it Chandelier? edit: on the 5th listen :clapping:
  22. Thanks, phobium Yeah, man, that sounds great. If you're interested in a specific one, let me know and we can discuss logistics. Damn, thanks Nemo! What a nice thing to say
  23. Thanks, faze. Now if I can only make some $$ with these. Heh, you're right about the Kilngon weapon resemblance. Interesting. *jumps in car and heads to nearest Star Trek Convention*
