For me regular trance = Euro-Trance. - DJ Tiesto's two first MAGIK compilations .. Forbidden Paradise comp. !!! Motorcycle – As The Rush Comes (Has a lot of mixes from people like Armin Van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold and Tiesto) !!! Brother Brown - Under The Water (Deep Dish Remix) !!! Mansun - Wide Open Space (Perfecto Mix) Paul Oakenfold - Southern Sun Chicane - Behind The Sun (The whole album is nostalgic bliss for me) again: Magik One - First Flight (The legendary quality compilations from Tiesto in the good old days. It’s quality faded off after 2-3 releases, as did the whole Euro-trance scene – Popularity killed it, just like popularity kills everything it touches) Dj Tiesto – Adagio For Strings Cygnus X – Orange Theme Kai Tracid – Liquid Skies Sunbeam – Outside World Junkie XL - Beauty Never Fades (Animatrix Edit) Orbital - Halcyon + On + On (Sample/extract on Halcyon from "It's A Fine Day" performed by Opus III -- Remember Miss Jane - It's A Fine Day (ATB mix)?) paul van dyk (He was a pioneer, no?) Blank & Jones - Cream Mike Koglin - Enjoy the Silence Yahel & I.Zen - Ministering Angels (Edit) .. hey, it's defiently euro-trance/club with a twist. I like it a lot. I like the take-off that doesnt take off right away. .. um: http://forum.isratrance.com/best-euro-tran...n-your-opinion/ p e a c e

Hi freaks! So, soon it's once again the time of the year where the corporations fill up their fat wallets and kids drool while mothes cry over bad echonomics. Yes, It's CHRISTMAS everybody!! (or for some of us at least..) White snow! Great x-mas food, Aquavit and a special x-mas blunt. Question: Are you buying music (CD, LP) to some of your friends, family and loved ones? Which, write em down for us to see! - I'm defo getting a nice chill-out album for one of my sisters, haven't decided on which yet.. you?

Hi, have you heard tracks from varies pietrance producers who has a 80's theme, small part or something in the music? Examples: hrm.. Hypersonic - The Begining of a Story Dino Psaras - 80's Virus Other suggestions.. in case someone wants to arrange a 80's theme ? Bom..
-
What music are you listening to right now?
psytones replied to Sputum Rotgut's topic in General Psytrance
Hypersonic - The Begining of a Story I think I might have a weakness for that 80's sound (03:40). God damn you Tears For Fears, INXS, Duran Duran, Donnie Darko -
It's not so bad for a listen. It's haunting, floating, some semi nice sounds and a sort of twist after the intro drift. It lacks something which is hard to say what, maybe the overall walk, feel of the track. Its nice, for sure. unbalance the n'sync Listening to this and its good spirit, I once again get the feel of how hard it is to make ,,real" psychedelic music/layers/sounds/PRECISSION/vibe/feel.. Good luck on the mosakk mekking buzzman! didnt know you had it in you :clapping: e. points for the ompti'omp sound

psytones replied to YaroslavTheHunter's topic in General Psytrance
After nearly a year, I once again :listened: to IM's albums (oldies). Yes, Infected Musherooom is still the warmest sound of my heart. :drama: and btw, after not having any access to my music collection and mostly listening to a few mediocre full-on and some a couple good psy that i'm tierd of.. point? IM - Trance Side is a FRESH breath/sounds. I liek Infected Mushroom - Converting Veggies - Trance Side . -
Would you pay 100,000 Euros plus expenses for Shpongle Live?
psytones replied to willB3's topic in General Psytrance
Ditto! (Especially thinking of a whole Sphonglie' show with all the works) If Juno Reactor* can get booked to a general music festival (Ie. Roskilde, DK) where they have the funds/money to allow a full blown show, then I see no reason why Shpongle can't do it.. *Arvika Festivalen (Sweden) 2006 was amazing! I mean, a full tribe of African stompers jumping, singing and playing all over the place, how soopa isn't that yo! Direct Topic Question: Nei. Ma name und inkom iz nøtt Kjell-Inge Røkke -

Liam Prodigy - Back To Mine http://www.discogs.com/release/614340 <-- Never heard this one. Prodigy - The Dirtchamber Sessions Volume One http://www.discogs.com/release/150343?ev=rr <-- Liam was supposed to release a second chapter in this Dirtchamber Session series, but because of dissepointing sales.. It was canned. Personly I as most enjoy the JILTED album most. The Narcotic Suite has always been a very special outro to the album with it`s heavy 3 Kilos and it`s Claustrophobic end. I did try these tracks on acid without a great wow amazing result though..

Some music that seem (and have) a bad master could in all reality sound wicked on a trip, no? Psykovsky`s Debut got a some complaints about being a bad mastered CD. Like Pavel said, maybe it`s supposed to sound that way. I got two copies of the Debut CD. The first copy is in a moving box in CPH, and that CD has a great master to it (In my memory). The secoind copy I have here, and to be honest, it seems as if the master on this second copy sounds .. bad? As if all the complaints I`ve read about it`s soundquality is true. .. I`m not 100% sure about this, because I havent been able to compare the two of them, yet. But still, I prefer a charming sound with personality before plastic. Unless it`s super crystal acid mosakk like Osom (Peace for the wicked) where the sound should be.. plastic. peace

Defo! This project is truly magical. I got this album: http://www.discogs.com/release/306735 and it has been a good friend on many occations. http://www.youtube.com/results?search_quer..._type=&aq=f Talk To The Stars is a lovely track.

I would honestly say that this is one of my wisest buys. Its super smooth sailing, clean acid psychedelic, clever arrangments of sounds and precissions of layers. This album is da bomb if you`d allow yourself to fly in it`s realm. qa2pir: What did you think? Would be very nice to read more opinions and stuff about Alienated Buddha.
-
Couldn`t agree more. This album is so nice and simple. It`s not simple as in bad, it just has that acid touch that is crystal clear and fun-feely. And a lot of respect for their software knowledge! pfffmaybe your right, but either way, this album WORKS very weell on LSD. I have had some super audio experience while tripping on this album. The layers are complex in it`s super acid manner. The sounds are crisp but not plastic. Even though maybe it can be concived by some as being a very simple and non trippy album, this simply can not be the fact. Because when you understand the genious behind this creation in it`s way of working, it`s precissions(!!) and it`s light and smily mood.. well, this has been one of my dearest albums through psytimes. Shame it`s highly overlooked by the mass. (8-9ish/10) ADD: Free download of their unreleased tracks ALIENATED

Back in 94 a friend of mine gave me a killargh CD for me to listen. It was a double disc jewel casing with a snake on it. Looked cool enough, and I was around that time beginning to explore darker and stranger music as it seemed to have some appeal to me. Thunderdome VII - Injected With Poison At first it was Ok. It was different, faster, harder (Scooter?).. But it took me about two months to get sick and tierd of it`s empty image. My friend tried to convert me with other CD`s in the Thunderdome collection (Also Terrordome and Happy Hardcore VA`s). As mentioned above, it`s something very pathetic about the music, it`s awful kicks and beats, empty content for the intellectual brain to spin around, the pure WE ARE HARD COOL AND VERY ANNOYING sound wasn`t my cup of tea. Thgis is why today I like the likes of Psykovsky and Ka-Sol. It has A LOT more to offer IMHO. gabba click gabba click gabba click unxzh click unxzh click unxzh clack One thing though, the album art works on the different Thunderdome VA`s manages to send me back in memory/feeling. And it doesn`t have a sucky feel to it. Just a quories feel Fun to read how peoples taste have developed through time, what lead them to this present reality of psychedelic trance music for the mind, heart and soul. Be it dark, light or minimal. e. EEEEeeeiiii Makkarena!! DONKDONKDONK KILLARGH

Ka-Sol = Psy-Gabber? And yes, heavy doses of uppers (E, Amph, GHB, Coke..) is the means for the people you speak Nemo.

Sorry Goa-Head, I\m not sure, but what about Oliver Lieb? As an alternative evolution some artists have attempted to fuse trance with other genres such as drum'n'bass. Others have experimented with more minimalist sounds. Frustrated, extreme versions of trance have mutated through gabba into fringe genres of "hard trance" or "hardstyle" overlapping with hardcore and terrorcore. 2001: A Space Odyssey Q: Who released the ,,official" first Goa/psychedelic-trance CD (CompactDisc) and in which year?
