  1. A very strong compilation overall, but I thought the voice samples on the Filteria track diminished an otherwise great song. For me, Merr0w, KOB (Filteria), and Daimon (Antares) were the strongest tracks.
  2. Etnica - Plastic Psychopod - Headlines +1 Plus Slinky Wizard / Jammy Wizard - Jammy Mutants Logic Bomb - The Pawn Rmx / Time Travelling ETs
  3. Stumbled across the preliminary listing for this release on Amazon 10 days ago. Looking forward to the album. Did you remaster any of the tracks?
  4. I just stumbled across this guy on another forum. Here's the (brief) Discogs summary: http://www.discogs.c...Of+Prey+%282%29 Try the Atrium EP for starters.
  5. The thing that had me confused was all the differences in track lengths, compared to Discogs, etc. Perverting Mankind --> The Sub Genie (6:31) Bhang Galore --> Solar Seed (5:16) Countdown To Meltdown --> Perverting Mankind (7:07) The Real Trick (no change) (5:31) The Sub Genie --> West In Pieces (7:19) Rub My Dub --> Bhang Galore (7:16) Domain --> Countdown To Meltdown (6:46) One Sure Curative (no change) (8:19) Solar Seed --> Up In Smoke (7:53) Up In Smoke --> Domain (7:25) West In Pieces --> Rub My Dub (7:42)
  6. I may be wrong, but I think these are the correct track labels (Discogs track name on left; correct name on right): Perverting Mankind --> The Sub Genie Bhang Galore --> Solar Seed Countdown To Meltdown --> Perverting Mankind The Real Trick (no change) The Sub Genie --> West In Pieces Rub My Dub --> Bhang Galore Domain --> Countdown To Meltdown One Sure Curative (no change) Solar Seed --> Up In Smoke Up In Smoke --> Domain West In Pieces --> Rub My Dub If anybody else has a better answer, I'd be happy to hear it.
  7. The first time I heard these tracks at Ektoplazm I didn't have much of a reaction. For whatever reason, the music didn't hook me. However, I recently decided to just go ahead and download the EP, and I'm glad I did. "Twisted" and "downbeat" are both good descriptions of the music, but it's more of a seduction than an adventure. Definitely worth a listen, and the price is right.
  8. It looks like the track names and times shown on iTunes, Discogs, Amazon, etc are all scrambled. For example, the track labeled Countdown To Meltdown on iTunes is actually Perverting Mankind (listen to the lyrics). As near as I can figure, the only two tracks that are identified correctly are 4-The Real Trick and 8-One Sure Curative. Everything else is labeled incorrectly.
  9. Psyfactor sounds a lot more confident in Futurised than Endless Universe. To me, this is a much better album.
  10. Just discovered this album (late to the party as usual). The group sounds tight, but it's somewhat hard to categorize their sound due to the variety of styles. The tempos seemed a little fast for dance music. One of the songs reminded me of the jazz group Medeski, Martin & Wood. Another brought to mind Electrypnose. The album gets better with repeated listenings. It just takes awhile to accept the music on its own terms.
  11. Is this smoothly flowing, melodic trance? No Is this dance music? No Is this a great, high energy album? Yes There's a lot of good music being produced these days by Vibraddict, Sidhartha, Alienn, and the other members of the Portuguese music scene.
