  1. I don't want to arouse any controversy, but goa trance is the particular sound of music and psytrance has much more variety. Form me Goa is kind of a subgenre of psy (of course with all the respect - everything we like was started by goa). The simpliest division of psy is for me: - goa- this characteristic sound and construction - some kind of full on - dark - with all of it's subs (forest, horror, space, shamanic etc.) - some kind of progressive - chillout Each square is a rectangle, but not every rectangle is a square = goa is psy, but not all psy is goa.
  2. dark psytrance bassline is the best

    Good TV Series? Any?

Trailer Park Boys is awesome series... It's certainly worth watching.
  4. Yeah, you're right. Right now i'm listening to another dark production from 2009: Dark Summer - The Tale Of A Broken Switch And The Lizard Unfortunately, it passed unnoticed. It deserves some attention - real solid piece of psy.
  5. If we're talking 'bout Psykovsky and Kindzadza, we have to mention: OSOM - EXORCISTO (from Midnight's Shared Blossom) It's totally insane... I really don't know what's going on in this track:) My mind is melting when I'm listening to this crazy piece of music.
  6. Steve Vai http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4AVXax5AXOA&feature=channel Well, I have some special sentiment for G'n'R, so I add Slash:) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SCplsXu1HRk&translated=1

  8. Joe Satriani http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MjNAeELQ_Z8&feature=related
  9. Probably the best: Jimi Hendrix http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pLKKGHrGMxQ&translated=1
  10. If you're looking for non-glitchy, non-spooky, non-horror psy... well, it's plenty of this. In the last year there was many such releases, which of I recommend: CPC - Subliminal Messages Enichkin - In Memory Of Love Fragletrollet - Playground Of Spirit Atriohm and Encephalopaticys - Ukalen But if you really want to introduce yourself to the dark side of the moon, I think, that you should get Goa Gil's comps: Towards The One Karmageddon Worldbridger Kali Yuga These albums are mixes of the most nice things going on in darkpsy today. After this, if you dig into artists present on comps, you will know more about dark
  11. It's a very good topic, since i've tried listen to some tracks from latest Texas Faggot album and I felt rather rejected... I don't know such music, but I would like to get into it. You've mentioned many albums, but I don't have opportunities to check out so many things. So, I have a little request - can anybody, who consider him/herself as a big fan of Finnish freaks, recommend me 1 or 2 albums, which can slightly introduce me to the genre? I think, that it should be something at least a little similar to "ordinary" psytrance. I would be grateful, thanks in advance.
  12. Well, psychedelic means different things yo different people, but to me it's something totally messing up your mind. So - pure oldschool: Juno Reactor - Beyond The Infinite KoxBox - Forever After The Infinity Project - Mystical Experience I don't know if you count it as oldschool (98-99), but: BOTFB - Twin Sharkfins X-Dream - Radio Xenomorph - Cassandra's Nightmare Hux Flux - Cryptic Crunch IM - The Gathering The Delta - Scizoeffective The most old psychedelic stuff is something out of this genre, which plays very nasty with your mind: Robert Rich & B.Lustmord - Stalker but you have to be in the right mood, with some spliff in your hand, and then - oh mannnn
  13. Plz add 2 comps from Ektoplaz: Anomalistic Ballistic [Anomalistic Rec.] Rest In Pieces [sonic Tantra Rec.] Thanks.
  14. Plz add: Crazy Astronaut - Renegade [Osom] Free albums from Ektoplazm: Jikkentaki - The Beginning Is At The End SubConsciousMind - Intermezzo Extended Xamanist - Initiation
  15. I've forgotten about Psykovsky's Da Budet! It's totally crazy album... Reminds of Osom project from him and Kindzadza.
  16. messed up - so many good tunes

  17. Well, I'm amused with this release. CPC came with better tracks than earlier - i loved Double Bouble and Violence, but it was very brutal. And here we have music, which is very complex - stuff like Nahpoh and Kamni should be played on every set!!! AAArgh!
  18. Silent Enemy is brazilian project. As i know, Latin Anerica is fullfiled with such kind of psytrance. We're all evil, goin' to hell and whatsoever. But this album is good. It's really good. It has the darkest atmosphere, comparing with everything else released 2009. And, its violent beats aren't just simple darkpsy - it's the stuff, which you will be afraid in a calm night.... YOU SHOULD HAVE IT!
  19. Hello everyone

  20. Hi everyone Well, I'm not really able to choose one or two favourite albums, but so far the biggest impression made: CPC - Subliminal Messages Filteria - Daze Of Our Lives Afgin - Astral Experiences Atriohm and Encephalopaticys - Ukalen Arsenic - Arithmetix Enichkin - In Memory Of Love Fragletrollet - Playground Of Spirit Ghreg On Earth - T3 Psychoz - 2012 No Return Kraft - The Mysteries Of The Sacred Universe Silent Enemy - Diabolic VA - Forest Frequencies As you can see, it's rather darker stuff:) Except Filteria and Afgin of course. But I didn't have opportunity to listen to many things which, I heard, kick ass.
  21. This is the album, which should be played to everybody who thinks, that trance music is the same. Sorry, but Merrow or E-Mantra could sell their music as eurotrance and there would be no difference (no offence, but please compare their melodies to melodies from ATB or Gigi d'agostino or Triesto - ehehehe do you see the difference? well, I'm not). Filteria "Daze of our lives" and the track Earthrise are for me, the fan of pure darkpsy but also hallucinogen and the early days goa albums, the best what could happen. Seriously. "Daze..." is great album, and I challenge everyman, who says, that it's not true:)))
