about half-way through - me like.
good stuff.

I like Psychoactive Scandosounds 1, 2, and 3, though those comps sound nothing like the style you're talking about. I think they were made in Oerebro.
But my favourite scandinavian goa project is and always will be BATTLE OF THE FUTURE BUDDHAS !!!
When they switched to progressive I started to enjoy in it almost as much. They are truly GODS of progressive trance genre and almost anything I've heard was stunning.
BOTFB made progressive?? examples?

well..
you could ask him about new "extreme psytrance" wave that's not very dark but still extremely psychedelic. like fractals, manyface, technical hitch, etc etc.
also about possible alien technology and psytrance creation. via VSTs etc.
and what he thinks of 2012..

some dark proggy stuff...
right now, Taksi - mal was anderes
playing at a tekno party this weekend...

fo that kind of money i'd rather buy some very high-end studio monitors, soundproof my living room, and rent Skazi's go-go dancers to perform while I listened to some killargh swedish forest music.

after everybody got bored with those goa melodies (imagine that!), minimal progressive almost ruined psy for me. back in 2001-2002. boring repetitive uninspired unpsychedelic crap, with no end in sight...
it'll come again, don't you worry...

The one time I ordered from Psyshop, it took 3 weeks for delivery.. so yeah..

there's another mix thing from that night that i'm trying to take down, that was after we got pretty stinking drunk and started playing with power tools. please avoid.

there's also the matter of not liking or understanding certain musical styles. I don't go around reviewing minimal tribal morning progressive 'cause it's not my cup of tea and I don't know it very well. I accept the fact that I don't understand it, and it's a matter of respect for people who do enjoy it and understand it - so I generally stay away from reviewing that style of music.

didn't like it..
too proggy morning for me. prefer Logic Bomb stuff anytime.

Mark Shagal and Antonio Gaudi. 2 very famous that made quite psychedelic work without touching any hallucinogen ever.
prove it.

blast you spammers, I'll ban both of you!!

have you checked out Weird Walker? the best glitchy/minimal tech psytrance out there. Highly recommended.
as to Parasense, they've released enough top notch tracks to make one really great album - their recent style after the split has changed - better production, more variation, but nothing explosive like, say, Crakakot or the track off v/a Flip on Henfield.
Transdriver made some amazing tracks, can't wait for his album. Same with Mungusid. check v/a Psychedelic for New Yearthling from 2002/2003 (old promo release). Abnormal has a great future as well, very similar sound to Double REL and Naked Tourist, though more psychedelic. Russian psy is improving quite a bit lately - even Kindzadza has much better production now..
and see, I don't really like Xenomorph.. too "halloweeny" for my taste.

freaking (zolod) = terminator = 1/2 parasense.
Well, I'm not into dark that much - I'm not listening to it 24/7, not begining my day with it nor falling asleep to it (=not goth ), but there certainly are acts that I enjoy hugely - Para Halu, Ka-Sol, Battle of the Future Buddhas, Ocelot, Derango, Procs, Entropy, GoW.
well, I think Russians definitely make some of the best dark psy out there - i don't like all of it, and a lot of it is too hard and minimal for my taste, but there are a lot of gems and when i feel the need to let off some steam or get the crowd into a frenzy, i usually go for a Russian track or a few.
and for some reason, i like Freaking but not Terminator.. hehe. Terminator is just too minimal, imo.

imo, track 7 doesn't belong on this compilation at all. my fave tracks: 1,3,4,5,8. one of the better comps this year, imo.
What's the fuss with Derango?
