Is Astral Projection - For all mankind an success?

IS Astral Proection - For all mankindan Success? After 3 months after the release of the album I wanted to know if Astral Projection for all mankind is an success. I find the album very good, it is oldschoolisch at sameniness and very melodic. What are your impressions?

It was really, really safe. I thought it was good, but not particulary great. Expectations were high and they weren't met. Again, good album, just nothing special.

Another world wit h only Tryptomine Dream, Aqua Line Spirit, Mahadeva 99 and Visions of Nasca or The Astral Files with Ionized, Zero, Free Tibet, Kabalah (new Age Remix), Time Began before the Universe (Another time Remix) Utopia (Concept Remix, Electronic, Ambeince. I think this album, For all Mankind, is not far away from them.

I think astral managed to create way more memorable melodies and patterns on the previous albums. This one was really flat. It felt the same as Prana's latest album, just really boring, although approachable stuff. There's nothing that sticks.

Sorry, but The Astral World is as complex as it gets, and way more complex than Tryptomine Dream or Visions of Nascaon Another World. It is even more complex than Electronic or Kabalah (new aGe Remix) from the main melodies. Also Into the Void, the Dream Himalaya and The Dream are very complex and have beautiful melodies.

you have a very strange taste when it comes to AP. for example you left out Nilaya out of your "another world" list. and you mentioned Ionized, zero, free tibet and kabalah on your "astral files" list and theyre all trash imho. Time began is good, utopia, electronic, ambience again trash. and you left out Enlightened evolution remix which is the single best one on that album and one of the best AP tracks full stop, top 3 without a doubt.

your taste isnt Wrong, its just Odd, to me at least. i couldnt stand the sound of For all mankind so i havent listened to a single track on there more than once. it basically hurts my brain listening to it. but, considering your odd taste, what do you think of Dancing galaxy, which tracks do you prefer there, and which do you not like.

again youre not wrong, everyone is entitled to their opinion and i respect yours fully. i just find it interesting. And one mans treasure is another mans trash and vice versa.  

but to answer your question i thought For all mankind was a huge fail. maybe in 5 years ill go back to it, realise im wrong. maybe. hard for me to gloss over the way it sounds though, its just too squashed and very very flat.

It’s a question of taste, I love their music since 1998 and I love their new album too although I listened to most of these tracks in many parties.

The album is still growing on me, it’s a whole story (as written by Amit,  his daughter, I have same feelings), I don’t compare it to the past, technologies, people etc... have evolved. I know they wanted to make a mix between old style and new technologies, it’s equal to my expectations, most of people following them on Facebook and Instagram love it too (according to many comments I saw).

Again, it’s a question a taste, it’s impossible to make something that everyone will love.

astralprojection, on Danicng Galaxy I like a lot of racks, Liquid Sun, No one ever Dreams and Ambient Galaxy (Disco Valley Remix). I don´t like Flyin into aStarI don´t lremember the other tracks of Dancing Galaxy.

okay. and on Amen? whats your favorites and why? Flying into a star is great!! why dont you like it?

also, how come you dont like Enlightened evolution remix? and Nilaya? im asking because you seem to be well versed in Aps music and im just very interested in how our tastes differ that much !

I am the real radi6404, I can remind you of the talks about Monika or of my likings rarlier of Electric Universe, where I praised Electric Universe in the What are you listening to? thread more than Astral Projection.

On Amien I like Chaos,, Electric Blue, Heavens Gate, Sticks and Stones, The Nexus, Electrogroo. That´s all. I don´t like the track Flying into a Star because of the one key melody, that is between the main melody at repeattime 1 and repeat time two.

Hmm... I wanna believe you but there's also some people who might impersonate you for the lulz and the real radi is dead. To me there's nothing lulz about that but even how fucked up that would be it is still possible. I can only reference our last talk on Facebook like 10 years ago.. Did we discuss a, astral or b, Miranda or c, hallucinogen.
